That is one of the nice things about stand ups. I know a few guys in their 60s still doing it and it's not killing them and they still rip pretty good. When we're hanging out on the water we might as well be the same age.

@@JoelArseneaultRU-vid Joel I have no words for your ski. Can a ski ever be too nice?!. That dual exhaust is mean! It wasn’t until I saw it with other skis riding next to it that I realized how hard your ski accelerates! I’m used to seeing you ride on flat calm water by yourself in your videos, but seeing it against other fast skis on choppy waters for reference, man that thing is a missile! A very nice cosmetically perfect missile!

@@cpcassone I'm blushing, haha. It's not perfect, but thank you. I will continue to work on it and make improvements. I lover tinkering with things and the X2 is probably my favorite project of all time. I agree... I've tried to express how quick it is, but you can tell a lot better when it's beside something else that is also quick.

@@JoelArseneaultRU-vid Just based off my own experience of building gnarly two stroke skis since I was a kid, I could tell just from your parts list, your impeller specs, and of course the quality that went into your build from watching your videos that you were going to have some shoulder socket pain lol. You do such nice work and being an engineer myself I understand more than anyone that most of the fun is the actual work you do to the ski along the way. Engineers love problem solving. Seeing the gears turning in your head as you came up with solutions to problems and turning your ideas into beautifully fabricated pieces that are works of art and optimized in terms of functionality is just amazing. The build videos that you and the JSB’s make are just as enjoyable to me as the finished result riding videos! Again great work and what a treat to see you with the guys! Wish I could have been there with you all! 🍻

Change out your cdi spark plug wire combo box, wsm has replacement ones

Hey. Usually, the best way to tell if it is a fuel or spark issue is to try to ride along and when it acts up, pull the choke and see if it makes it better. If not, it could be ignition. Generally ignition issues are abrupt and tend to cut in and out intermittently, fuel issues tend to come on less abrupt and will respond /change depending on throttle input... Meaning if you throttle up more gently or pump the throttle you can get it to work different. This is very general info and you may have a completely different issue other than fuel or spark.

I believe the pump is a stock pump with a 16/24 skat track. I now have a 750 pump in my X2 with a Impros 15/21 Hooker.

Ok, update. I think I've found the relay box attached to the bottom of the steering column area. Unplugged one of the connectors to the triangular trim module and with the engine running I get about .2V at idle and .35V mid RPM. So, I'm thinking it's the relay and also the trim position sensor. Can I transfer my trim position sensor from an STS to a ZXI(they look the same) and can I transfer my relay?

i was wondering the same thing, and even tho I'm here... i don't think I got an answer, haha. You may see a 550 900 at some point tho 🤷‍♂
