That was a tape worm that you seen in that smallmouth. Another awesome fishing trip and them two nice smallie you caught was awesome to. Thanks and appreciate all you hard work it means alot so thanks.
I echo Dupe opinion. These are therapeutic for me. It is a break in my day watching something fun, clean and does it with a level of humility that only a man of God can put forth. Keep them coming bro.
Cool Video, when the big plugs don't work for River stripers throw the Pearl Fluke. They can't resist it. River fishing here this year has been terrible. lots of high water and when they Just got right a Hurricane came through and they are back up. Hopefully one river I luv to fish will be at the level I like it Saturday. If not I will have to go back to the Saltwater.
Smart man! Bigger water, bigger boat! Glad to see ya'll wearing lifejackets. Monster Smallie! My cousin & his two boys drown fishing in Tennessee. Hey that is a wall hanger Drum! 🎣 none of them had life jackets.
That looked like an awesome place to fish. Hey buddy I fish alot for muskies and I know throwing those big lures wears on ya but keep at it. When one of those big baits gets hit it's like nothing else lol. It becomes an addiction chasing that feeling. Give those strippers another try would love to see you hook up. Great video.
Leslie Tincher It looks so much like the Cumberland River below the dam at Lake Cumberland, in either Kentucky or Tennessee. The type of fish there are a match too.
That night time fishing brought back memories of finding a sand bar to make a base camp and running trout lines all night for catfish... course that was nigh on a hundred years ago..... still putting out great content brother thanks again for sharing. God bless.
I'm in north central Texas, you'll be lucky to find a creek or small river with any water in it. Come on rain. 105, here to today, not a good day to be on a tractor, take my word for it 🙄
Hey man, I just spent the day off work helping my GF watch our 2mo old who just got his vaccines today. It's been a long day for sure. It's nice to enjoy some CFA after we finally got him put down. Congrats on that insane smallie man, love to see you having so much fun I also am sitting here trying to figure out how to make all my gear fit in my regular backpack as you showed us the Ego bag. Now I'm gonna save up $120 for it. Also, I did like I said I would and went out to fish a creek I've always seen but never tried and it paid off. I had a ton of fun. Thanks for encouraging your viewers to get out of their comfort zone. Have an awesome day and God bless you and yours.
LOL! A: Its good to know that you spent two hours on a lake and didn't get a bite. I was beginning to think you weren't human. B: My brother-in-law and I got caught in a sudden rain and were heading to shore in his small boat. Realizing the absurdity of the situation we started to get a tad giddy. Especially when we realized we were "laughing all the way to the bank"! LOL! Great vid. Keep it up.
John next time try a shad pattern rattle trap with a yo yo retrieve for striper. Should be a good time. Thank you for your hard work and allowing us to tag along on your fishing adventures✝️😁
“Hellgrammite” the lure small mouth ask for by name!! “Tyler” the fisherman Drum ask for by name!! I want your “OH MY GOODNESS” as my ring tone! That was a great video Brother, y’all were having fun!
"I'm not worried about the weather"....as soon as I heard you say that I said, oops that was a mistake! LOL! That first "small"mouth was a beauty!!! Nicely done!
My favorite lure for Stripers when they're near surface is the Yo-zuri jerk-bait 5/8 oz. Blue Herring. I caught one 9lbs and 9oz and right at 31in long. That lure slayed them!
There should be a fish right there, cast...plop,twitch,twitch,twitch,jerk,fish on,yep, right where it should be. John the fish whisper. Good stuff man, God Bless.
the drum follow the man where ever he goes. lol Right before day break is when you want to get on most lakes. I know you are in a river. On a lake right before sunrise is unreal. You will see things you have never seen in your life as far as fish activity. up here in Ohio it's Muskie and pike along with so many other fish just rolling around on the top. It's truly a sight to see even you never cast a line.
