I'm a Christian country boy living in south east Tennessee. I love to fish, focusing on creeks and streams that often get overlooked for some fun fishing. Most of my fishing will be for multispecies on light tackle. Living in the south east Tennessee area. Would definitely like to travel all over the country fishing small creeks. My friend deep hooked a big smallmouth once on a canoe/camp trip. We cleaned and scaled it, and covered it inside and out with old bay and butter and roasted it over the campfire. One of the tastiest fish ever. Just saying. I hated that it died but at least it provided a good meal for us.

I have this same rod and i'm trying to throw a panfish magnet with 8lb mono and i can't cast any distance. Am i using to heavy of a line? I also want to catch bass so i don't want to go too light on the line

A nice addition to your fire starter kit is a bag of wood pellets. If you can get em lit on a grate or in a rock bed they burn for awhile. I also carry a vegetable steamer caulender as a makeshift firestove/firepit.
I'm surprised you and Nordbye aren't best friends. You guys are a lot alike with fishing videos and both of you having a strong love for Jesus. Jesus is so awesome.

Well I'm glad you have this channel because I enjoy watching it & I get to read some scripture & I don't have to hear cursing, means a lot this day & time, you inspire ppl to go & fish or create their own adventures, but no God don't always give you a job you enjoy, just because you have enjoyed your jobs don't mean everyone does, I like my pay because I've earned it 37 years as a machinist but I hate my job, I'm 60 years old & 5 more years I can retire, but what about your health & health insurance you better think about it cause you will get older & you can't do what you could when you were younger, I know 1st hand about it!🎣👍

Been watching for years. You do what I wish I could do more. It’s nice to watch you on a river I’ve canoes many times in my younger years. Every time I see that bridge I got a little sad. Wasn’t ever ready to go.
