A great day to be on the water. This was the beginning of my 2024 search for crappie at lake Isabella. This has been my most productive year yet and the biggest change being that I switched from minnows to jigs. I use my own brand Get Bent Baits which can be found at getbentbaits.net to order online. The big issue with finding crappie at Isabella is that the water levels are rising daily with the snow melt running directly into the lake. But continued efforts have been successful thus far and hopefully will continue.
