Please be more accurate with your terminology. Scientists haven't said Oumuamua is from a different "galaxy". Rather, it's undoubtedly from a different solar system within our own galaxy the Milky Way. That's why it's called an interstellar object and not an intergalactic object.

I used magnets from a speaker as toys when I was a kid and I would often collect metal spheres about 1mm across. They looked just like that. I asked my dad what they were and he said just metal that's come off cars. But of course roads are just huge collection shutes like gold panning matts. As much as I hope he's right, it seems he's jumping to a heckuva lot of conclusions. He found some magnetic spherules mixed with volcanic ash. That's nothing new, there are a lot of magnetic rocks, and they would probably be in spherule form from a nearby volcano. He doesn't mention how he gets to the assumption that the meteorite was magnetic in the first place. or how he knows these particular spherules actually came from the meteorite. All he has is some rocks from an area where a meteorite crashed. He says the proof that these came from the meteorite is because it came from the same general area. I think he's going to need a bit more to back up these claims.
