Totally agree. I see the same thing with other enthusiast like muskie anglers, and some fly anglers you see it often too. Other forms of trout fishing on the river are the opposite.
This was just another great video Andrew and really what I have come to expect from you in terms of both the fishing and the video editing. Having gotten into Kayak Bass Fishing tournaments last year myself, I know how you feel about adding an element to our fishing that takes you out of your comfort zone and adds a little extra excitement to the outing. I hate ticks, have you ever used permethrin on your clothes to prevent ticks ? Honestly, I swear by it , spray it in your clothes let it dry and it will really help keep the ticks at bay. Good job on the trash clean-up too and congrats on filling your limit even if you didn’t end up finishing as high as hoped..... and that drone footage... Wow ! This was an incredibly inspirational video. Much respect.
If not as good as new , good as I hoped. Thanks for asking. Went out in the kayak yesterday for the first time and unloading and then loading the kayak on the trailer went well which was the main concern. Heading up to Lake Champlain tomorrow to try to catch some Big Northern Pike from the yak. Life is Good.

I am still learning their patterns too. One great thing I am learning is that they are an easier fish to scout for. Often I'll leave my fishing gear in my car and scout areas on foot or on my bike to try and pin point some fish before I set up all my stuff
Funny I tell everyone I meet all my good fishing spots but the moment you ask other people radio silence .... Share the spots even tho you can set up just about any bay off lake Ontario in spring and earlier summer and land them I got over 30 landed in 3 trips to lake front promenade in a week I wouldn't mind some other fisherman to post up near me and fish lots of fish to go around
