Instead of reading the whole page you can search for text within a page to quickly find what you want. Here's how to search for text on a web page on the Mac in Safari and on the iPhone.

I use the Reader function also to get the text WITHOUT all the ads and other junk that I don't want or need.

Some additions… On macOS Sonoma 14.5, you do NOT have to do a find before using cmd-E to “Use Selection for Find", unless you want to see the occurrence number or use the next/previous buttons. If you don’t need that, then you can just do cmd-E and then use cmd-G and Shift-cmd-G to find the next/previous as desired. On iOS/iPadOS 17, you can also use “Share > Find on Page” to find something on the webpage. “Use Selection for Find” is also available on these OS. Simply select a word on a page and then tap “Find Selection”, which is found next to “Copy” on the context menu.

Yes Sir, but more than a bit. I don’t know how to measure quantity of lip sync……..I am a retired sound engineer having worked in Films on location recording and in dub studio.

@@NavinBetamaxok. The sync is off enough to be noticeable. I guess my point was not to question that or your expertise, but rather to acknowledge Gary’s efforts and work providing us with such great content on a daily basis. He could probably fix the audio, but honestly, I rather he spend his time creating new content ! Thanks again, Gary!!

Hi, I have a problem with Apple Maps maybe you could help me and other people with the same issue. I can’t add my Home. I accidentally deleted it from favourites. But now, I can’t add them back. I’ve also updated it on Contact card, But still it’s not showing up in favourites. Thanks in advance.

Make sure the contact card is set to be your "My Card" card in Contacts and that the address is set to be Home for that card. If that doesn't work, maybe just add it back as a favorite by searching for it, then in the info box Add to Favorites.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I already tried what you mentioned but it didn’t work. I looked for a solution in Reddit, but other people had the same problem and no solution whatsoever, it seems to be bug. Once you delete the icon from favorites, you can’t get the direction to favorites again.

@@lorenzotorres2014 Did you try completely deleting your My Contact entry. Then creating a completely new one. Then after you enter all of the information, setting that to "My Contact?" I would confirm during each step that iCloud Contacts had been updated too.

Thank you for all your very helpful videos. My MacBook Pro 13-inch 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports, Processor: 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel core i7, Sonoma 14.5, but it restarts while sleeping, and appears a message that the computer restarts because of a problem. Looks like panic attack. What should I do? It is updated. Thank you for your help.

If you can't figure out what is causing the kernel panic, then you should take it to an expert for a firsthand look.

@@galato4234 The first two, sure, why not. But the last shouldn't do anything since today's systems are read-only so you'd be replacing it with the exact same thing.
