Dale Jarrett should have won the Winston Cup this season. A terrible call by the officials at Watkins Glen forced him to make a pit stop because they “saw” and problem with his car that didn’t exist. He was running top 5 at the time and the stop relegated him back to about 30th place. He ended up finishing the season 14 points behind Jeff Gordon for the title.
