I love when an artist is good ya see a lot of comments sain how he is ahead his time but Steve is an rare kinda artist that's bring ya back for the times that music was more simple and magic at the same time sarcasm and humor wast an death setence like It is today, I love this guy.
Joshua Stevens ,sadly the same in UK...unless the kids have parents daft on eclectic range of music. My old man loved standards jazz(MJQ. Stuff) which beyond me but it got me curious).......my kids don’t follow my tastes but they sure know some excellent stuff. In fact the younger son couldn’t get into the tent to see Steve for this gig! Rammed full.
There is some modern day music here I like. But it doesn’t get radio play. It’s to real, to much talent and authentic. One of my favorites is Colter wall. He has played lots of shows abroad and here in America. But I’ve noticed Seasick Steve plays a lot abroad, maybe not many like his style here?
Steve lived in Sweden for a while. I think he raised a family there. His drummer is an eccentric Swede. Plenty of musicians get lots of work in Europe and sometimes settle there. I like Colter Wall. Very talented guy. I will watch out for him. Catfish Keith tours UK and bits of the UK every autumn ,so I’ll catch him next time round. I’ve found one Charlie Parr, thanks to RU-vid...quirky and fascinating.
Es müsste viel mehr von dieser guten "alten" und so herrlich handgemachten Musik geben. Einfach Spitze und ein cooler Typ mit vielen Wandlungen !! Bitte noch recht lange weiter so 👍👍
@@zandie12 He's really astonishing isn't he? No ego or anything just goes out and plays. Very underrated guitar player in my opinion, you never hear him mentioned among great guitar players
