Chris, Also if you want to take more weight off, you can cut that center hanger off with some diagonal cutters. It will save you about 3/4 of a split ring's weight. For me it really helped get the slow rise just right as I wanted a size 5 up front.
Great tip, Chris👍🏼 I use the 6th Sense Hyperjerk(slow sinking twitch bait) frequently and they come installed with feathered trailer hooks. After catching several fish on them, you can obviously see the feathers with bite marks and has sold me on them completely.
