Its kinda funny to remember that Red vs Blue is actually older than RU-vid. Edit: If anyone's wondering RvB came out in April 1st 2003 RU-vid was launched in February 14th 2005
The tank named Shiela- There is an avievement in Halo Infinite for driving a tank through an entire mission, named "Bring Shiela home safely" Love that
It’s kinda amazing that, after starting to win back the community with the announcement of the final season, they immediately managed to piss everyone off even worse than before
@@Lancersilva Personally I think everything past season 10 has been just getting worse and worse, especially since Church is permanently dead and Caboose effectively won't be Caboose anymore since Joel Heyman was fired. I mean, season 'Zero' was pretty fucking bad.
Restoration Also, yeah, it sucks and its just to drive traffic to their site. Problem is that I use mobile to watch this series most of the time and their site is awful for mobile.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t know if this was intentional, but I noticed that all the characters are stereotypes of online players Sarge is the player who acts like he can lead his team, but hardly anyone listens to him Simmons is the player that is one of the few who actually listens and follow orders despite no one else doing so Grif is the player that doesn’t do anything and just messes around during the whole game Donut is the player that is new to the game Caboose is the player that is also new to the game, but also too young to be playing Tucker is the player living in his mom basement hoping to find a relationship online Church is the player who thinks he is a pro and better then everyone, but is actually worse and completely sucks Tex is the player who is actually good at the game Lopez is the player from another country who somehow got on an American server
What if I told you that was originally on purpose. Now this is all from memory so maybe it's off or Mandela effect. The short version is that this was supposed to be a short few episode series. The original concept was that it was to emulate a LAN party. All the characters were meant to represent how players act in games. After it became a hit they ran with it for all these years.
Its one of life’s great mystery’s isnt it, i mean why are we here , is it a cosmic coincidence or is there really a god watching over us. I dont no man but it keeps me up at night
“Oh guys I’ve got a great idea! Let’s remove nearly all of the seasons off RU-vid after we announced the final season! They’re gonna love this!” Seriously RoosterTeeth you never fail to disappoint us.
Looks like after the final season.. its really going to be gone. Erased like alpha, and forgotten like tex. But who knows, our memories are still here, Good ones infact. And maybe.. if your patient.. it'll come to you.
Yeahhhhhhh it's been an absolute mess. We RvB oldies have talked about this. Just remember the time and move on. Sucks, but at least we're still around to laugh on it.
First time rewatching from the start after ages and hearing Sarge's voice shocked me so much lmao. Everyone else sounds like themselves, but Sarge sounded like an entirely different person at first.
They will probably never read this comment but im genuinely sad the full seasons have been hidden. RVB is my go to show for background noise or for comfort when im upset. i cant tell you how many times i have rewatched this whole series, i know most seasons word for word by heart at this point. Hell i even turn it on showering every damn day. I really hope they will make them public again, its my absolute favorite series and im sure others feel the same. Rooster teeth PLEASE listen to your fans :(
@@FuhkRU-vidsMom yeah I haven’t kept up with any of their stuff besides RVB tbh. Maybe I’m not a true fan but RVB has a special place in my life. I don’t really know how to watch it now.
They are on youtubeTV, but from what I have heard it's censored, like obvious blanks during the cussing, which is really annoying to listen to. I dont know why they took away what is such an easy show to rewatch over and over again. A pirates life for me I guess
@@JackTulsen77 Whelp, considering this was one of the few super good halo machinima's/series that has came out of halo, this truely is the original halo 'tv' show, even if this isn't officially made by 343 it still holds merit for being a halo series even if it wasn't that related to lore.
@@SpiralbigboyYeah... No not doing that. Their website is a piece of flaming shit. The episodes are uploaded elsewhere on youtube. Guess they get my traffic.
@@nukacola3745 Can't remember what season, but Tucker jokingly says that the gas in the canisters at the back of the Warthogs were lemonade. Caboose drank it, thought it was just bad lemonade and didn't want to hurt Tucker's feelings, so he just kept drinking it.
We just gonna overlook Grif’s insane Spanish-speaking skills? The guy was able to understand the word “Lopez”. That’s no easy feat. The dude’s a master.
The funny thing is he asking learn Spanish later on but then he still chose to not have conversations with Lopez and even let Lopez be misunderstood by the rest of the group whenever he was trying ask them not to throw him in the ocean

I will never forget the hours and hours I spent binging RvB as a kid, staying up late and stealing my mom’s work laptop to get on RU-vid during the summer. Thank you Rooster Teeth for the hours of entertainment you provided to me as a child/teen. I may have grown out of the other content as things changed but I will always cherish what this company used to be, I don’t think I would be who I am today without this collection of people. Goodbye Rooster Teeth and thank you for everything.
@@flappynautintheocean8824 lol this was the original joke for Tex all my ex's live in Texas XD but Project freelancer was pulled out of no where to make the series more depthful
@@bradleyc6564 maybe, idfk, but rooster teeth and most of the voice actors are from Texas so I’m sure there’s some kind of connection there. It’s possible they hired one person from each US state to get a very diverse array of people and used their state as their codename, but i don’t know if that’s confirmed or debunked. Also one weird thing to note, North and South Dakota are two different agents while North and South Carolina are just one, Carolina. Also, noting that she’s technically Texas’ daughter and they would likely be from the same state, that could poke a hole in that theory, though i guess it could be based on birth state? Maybe Carolina was born in the Carolinas (or possibly THE Carolina, rvb lore tends to have weird obscure stuff like that) and they lived there for a while, and it’s possible they moved back, though not entirely relevant, but yeah, i don’t really know. This is just speculation based on a joke line, though another thing is I’m pretty sure Wyoming has a relatively high British-American population, which could explain Wyoming’s accent, so again, there’s something to this theory, but it’s really just guessing.
@@donovanulrich348 i feel like project freelancer was always planned. Well not exactly every detail, but something along that. I mean it was already hinted that church wasn’t human because a tank locked on to him.
10:52 "We were gonna get married, but, I got shipped out..." Man, rewatching this, it's hard to believe that this line gets way more impact seven years after the fact.
I felt that I was in the middle of watching it too. It really feels like I thought they couldn’t go any lower and they just find another thing to shackle you too a paywall or slow buffer speeds and a terrible ui.
I remembered I showed this show to my gf when we had just 3 months together. She resisted for a bit but eventually got into it. 7 years later, and we are happily married and still make occasional references to this show. I credit this show for my relationship ♥️
@@idkalan00 didnt the show writers lose their jobs? @@VRCentral No way they’d have the balls to do that. I still stand by the fan theory Caboose was a failed Freelancer: Agent Florida. Remember Tucker said “Poor Florida” and that Caboose was compatible with O’Malley? I know the theory says California though
@@nosfonader8792 sounds cool i had just never heard that. I heard something about caboose being the director's son or something. Love this series. Made my gamertag "Wise Director" about 6-7 years ago and never changed it.
This has been my comfort show for so many years.. every time I had trouble sleeping or felt anxious I would put this on. (Mainly when it used to be on Netflix, which I’m sad they removed it). I will always come back to this series after some time. It makes me feel happy and safe for some reason.. it helps.
I haven't watched the series since it's use of halo 4 assets, but was Church always meant to be a fucking prick? I honestly forget if that was the intent or if my tastes have grown up.
Remember watching this when it was relatively new, on my moms shitty desktop computer. She bought me the dvds for my birthday, and when I put this on, my friends all thought I was insane for finding this funny. My nickname throughout school, was Church. Still have a hat with it stitched into the back. Time marches on. Still classic. Still hilarious.
Shit... I guess this hit vets differently. I was still in the Navy when the first several seasons dropped and we all loved them. Hell, we even incorporated some episodes into our training videos. The military humor was so on point in a "this is funny because it's true" kinda way, that many of us were shocked that none of the RoosterTeeth people were prior military.
That's why I only enjoy the older seasons now. I enjoyed all of it when I was a kid, but now I feel like as time went on they made the characters too stupid. They made them all parodies of themselves and threw subtlety out the window.
Despite rewatching RvB probably at least a hundred times over the years, I will never tire of the original theme song. It is literally impossible not to hum or tap alongside to.
Damn I was 4 when u was watching this😂.. but man this series was went so hard later on, kinda glad I got the chance to watch it more in my teenage yrs..

I love the crude humor of the 1st season. The sidewinder flashback is a good example. The dude literally screaming bloody murder and the "that doesn't seem physically possible" line lol
your massive shift away from youtube has destroyed my ability to watch and share this show with my friends and family. no more watching rvb on a tv. you guys are really living long enough to become the villains.
I still remember learning how the opening shot was done: a player on the end of the Scorpion Tank's barrel, being lifted up very carefully :D As fancy as RvB got when it was fully budgeted and endorsed, there's creativity and ingenuity in the original seasons.
God, I have watched red vs blue since DAY ONE. What still blows my mind that you look at it and think it's animation but you forget that it all started out being made ENTIRELY inside the actual Halo game itself. When the guys are moving their arms talking and everything, that is literally someone moving the joystick on an Xbox controller to move the characters around. The amount of time to get that right and the tricks they had to pull off to get characters to do certain actions is insane.
The greatest series to ever exist begins with one word “Hey” Edit: Looking for confirmation, does anyone know if RvB came out in 2003? If so, the series is as old as I am!
