Brad, i see you working that dyin' dawg ripping in an upward stroke. Ive been stroking downward on that lure with minimal success, although not with any weight, trying to keep.it down. Only hitting about 6-7 feet. With that weight you are using and ripping up, how deep are you getting? And i assume with your upstroke your getting more glidee up before it hang times. Do you prefer upward over downward on that lure? Thanks bud

So we use the heavy choas weight on the front hook hanger. When counted down around 7-8 count and ripping the bait on slack line you should be in right around 12’. If you don’t use the slack line it will begin to lift in the water column. Hopefully this helps. Thanks for the question.
