Season 20 Balance Changes: Which cards are the best?!

because of the skill dmg formula changes, my lvl 23 axies in adventure now do 50% more dmg during combos. As its based on percentage from the base dmg of the card. I don't know if this change was intended, but it certainly does make clearing adventure ruin levels easier.

i see feather fan, eggshell, tri feather, hungry bird/peace maker would be meta, imagin this combo. u manipulate enemy with aroma+feather fan+hungry bird/peace maker, it does damage and enemy come after ur bird with those shield u have plus 20% from feather fan. it will do good with ur mid/front with goda/serious, rice, antenna, basically wtih destroy/stealing energy, so u can safely use this combo at round 3,4 without worrying ur bird probably died. i see this comp jump up in price already on mp already from 0.02 to 0.07

just tried using my double bug, not really a game changing nerf for me. in fact I feel that I got better in strategizing with my discards

I disagree with the changes for anemone.. the percent of healing should have been the one adjusted, not the actual atk/def.. it was already nerfed last time and it was enough..

It's not a balancing of the game, it's a balancing of the market. There are cards that people don't use like trump - buff. To many anemone cards - debuff.Then people run to marketplace in FOMO and bring fees in weth to developers.I think devs found a good source for income and will do this shit every season provoking people to buy new axies. But if you have a middle team for middle mmr don't care and play further. Stop wasting your money every 2 months on new "meta". It's for profis who must always stay at top 100. Almost all my scholars have decent teams without this koi/ballon/pocky shit and we are OK. Two guys with anemone will suffer but I think they will get used to it. So don't bring your money to marketplace, let devs think a little bit more about economic first. (Sorry for propaganda here)))

little branch's crit is too hard to trigger now. its originally for beast axies, who would breed a beast axie with 2 plant cards? :< they should at least bring back chain mechanic or make it a plant card permanently

Perhaps Gravel Ant must also be comboed with 2 other cards. Just increase its damage/shield. Thoughts?

I have hot butt, cactus, bone sail on my plant. Hare and egg bomb on bird. I think all of these needed nerfing. But they need to make soothing song 70dmg to balance the nerf on egg bomb.

dark swoop interesting change ? lol it has no shield and 10 damage when you can see the other back door cards also cost 1 energy and had more damage and shield then dark swoop plus it's a bird high risk high reward axie now after 2 debuff I am not sure it is a good choice to pick it up.... they are just killing the bird axie ....

Damage in a card will always matter, no matter the effect. You need the combined damage of your cards to kill an axie, and people keep repeating they don't undestand why they nerf axie damage till they start using the card and it sucks. Happen to the popular aquas last season, will happen again. And ever more if now the fish just need a cost 0 card with 20 shield to survive a backdoor from a bird.

Nerfing and buffing should be stopped. You buy your Axies based on their capabilities paying premium for strong Axies then soon later they’re nerfed so you lose your capabilities and hence value. Too many seasons of this garbage. No wonder people are leaving in droves, most taking a loss and moving on to Axie Infinity’s more transparent competitors.

I stopped playing at the start of December(I lost 18 matches in a row...), but now seeing that 5 cards that i use got more nerfs i don't even thinking in coming back, saddly =/

rename dark swoop to just swoop cause it's just stupid at this point

I love to see ur videos, i learned to play Axie with u but i have to disagree with: "Gravel Ant" C class? i think it should be on top because it can single handely give u a win if ur opponent doesnt have the tools to deal with.

is it just me or beast cards most of the time doesn't get drawn if you still got three axies before round 3 or 4? its depressing that i only get a single combat card by round 3 or 4 which is kinda useless by then already when you aren't the fastest

Anemones are not even that op anymore. They kay be top during season 18 but after the pre season 19 nerf, they dropped like flies. But still they want to kill these axies just because a lot are using them now due to low prices 😒

Luckily some of my card are increase shield and some damage.

You guys are not gonna get even 3 matches against gravel...it is really unfair for gravel ant users nerfing the card....as we get double poison and back liner birds or those axies in match making who don't have any high melee cards to disable sadly thats how matchmaking works for gravel users... it's not like we win more than 10 matches on an average with gravel ant as its only useful in 1 v 1 situation and 90% of the time no use in early game. I personally felt a lot of difficulty with this nerf as i don't have any 0 cost on mine neither my built has a single energy card... I have spent a lot to get my gravel ant axie... Changing the mechanism felt real unfair to people who have it! I understand that its difficult to counter for melee users but just think about it how many of the gravel you get every day but for us we only get matched with double poisons and others back liner ranged cards and are stuck on 1500-1700 !
