It is one if the marketing strategy, they saved a lot of money by leaking the content to get people excited. They saved the money on trailers, gameplay release by youtubers, promotions by ALGS teams. If it works in a good way then they would experiment of these types of promotions. Just like giving free flatline skins after completing the challenges was a huge success for them

I’m pointing out that I didn’t even think we would get a Cinematic Trailer because from what I recall, they never release a Gameplay trailer before the cinematic. The cinematic teases gameplay. On top of that we are, what, five days from the next season? When are they releasing it? A day prior? I know we aren’t supposed to be seeing this leak this early but the shake up on the operation side of Apex’s advertising is confusing me on what the hell they are doing. Mind you, I’m not complaining or bitching, I’m just slightly confused. I’m not even saying it’s a bad thing.
