Season of Discovery PHASE 3 is Looking INSANE 

this is the 3rd time ive watched this preview and im still getting hyped, sod is popping off with the updates and being in touch with the community

sod is the only reason i went back to classic. why would i want to do it again. and honestly those saying sod is saved is silly. its been pretty good so far. and sod has been doing really good. sod has been fun.

Mental dexterity Rune for Shamans will elevate them so far that they'll actually become raidbosses on their own. Someone on reddit already did the math and figured out that they'll have more AP SP than other casters and melees together 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Druids: "I want something that makes feral relevant again" Blizzard: *buffs bear* Druids: "No no no not like that!!"

Kinda weird to see the classic dev-team being this passionate about vanilla while the retail-guys are still just as tone-deaf as ever.

bro that 66 spell dmg on cast proc ring might actually just be so good that even enhancement shamans want to use it. that on top of mental dexterity buff is going to be pretty solid for an overall dps increase even if this is the only spell damage item you'll be using for your gear set. im all for this, im sick of seeing my chain lightning hit for like 300 on the primary target and then basically just tickle the last target for like 20 damage. enh shaman (both dps and tank) are sort of in need of a cleave ability right now because of chain lightnings noodle damage, and its looking pretty good in that regard, now all they need to do is add a rune or a book that removes or reduces the 30% damage drop per jump and increases targets hit from 3 to 4-5 and we're pristine for some decent aoe tanking/dps

Didn't get the chance to go into Stv pvp that much. So personally I'm glad they didn't add another pvp "event"

loving the chucking spear for warrior, they deffo needed some kind of pvp buff and this seems to be it.

What i wanna see is the corrupted Ashbringer questline complete with getting the Ashbringer as a holy weapon

Idk man. Everything is a big W except the lockout change. I wish they could have just hard-coded the reset days. Like Tuesday and Friday or something. One raid in P3 and only doable once a week is gonna make a barren wasteland on any day that isn't a Tuesday...

Almost all the things are great, but there's one thing that I don't understand with SOD. He's talking about farming "Pre raid bis", but why would I farm these "Pre raid bis" if the raids are way too easy to be cleaned full green ? We need some content to incentivize us to clean the dungeon and not the raids first.

I prefer what Turtle WoW does in terms of expanding vanilla rather than SoD just buffing leveling stuff. /shrug

I sadly was too busy to play classic vanilla when it came out so SoD is that for me, I've been streaming it and loving it (I know its not truly vanilla but still). I just looked up the quest rewards for the level 50 class quest chain for ST and considering the new items and epics in SoD I really hope they upgrade/buff the quest rewards. I'm definitely still doing it for my priest but it'd be cool if they could make at least one of the three rewards (or ideally all 3) BiS, one for each spec. Still only get to choose one so still a big choice!

That leech life now i think about it, i wonder if itll work on explosive shot. That could make aoe grinding super easy

As someone who used to spend most of my gaming time on WOW retail - I am now only spending time in either SoD or HC. I'm so happy Blizzard is keeping Classic alive

Enhance already averages 1500 AP and 100 int. This is going to give them 500-700 spell power... at level 40... Melee weaving ele shamans should be able to get close to 1200 spell power

As a old wow player watching from the sidelines on twitch and youtube. SOD does seem very appealing to come back to play

Classic, SoM, SoD diversifying all the playerbase but at sametime they are not playing retail and there is less and less players to play with and to find groups in retail.

As a druid player, the only thing of interest in phase 3 is dual spec. Feral dps will play almost exactly the same as it does now in phase 2. Gore is such a god awful rune with zero thought put behind it. I have mained feral dps this entire time (even with how bad feral dps did in gnomer) and am heavily considering switching to moonkin and dual specing into bear.

Bro this is so good, I’m hoping with the PVE event it will feel like a bigger patch than the 2nd.

What are your thoughts on SOD being a temporary asset that goes nowhere? Characters just deleted after a year or two? I can’t seem to wrap my head around playing SOD for that reason. Same reason I haven’t played any of the seasonal stuff.

How about a Tabard rune that works for all classes? It is activated by joining a guild. Perhaps the guild can choose what it does. This would make choice of guild interesting.

balefire bolt fits with medieve so i think its a great fit. SOme mages are absolutely insane, more so than warlocks

Problem with no 3 day lockouts is then i cant solely raid log from 50-60 unless i want it to take 10 weeks where as before i could do 2-3 a week and get it dont much quicker

Shared reputation for your alts. Long profession quests/rune quests skippable for alts. If they really wanna make it "alt friendly" like they claim they are. Make it happen.

SOD has been amazing so far. A- so far. Some nerfs that nuked specs and some that made them nukes. Cough shamans.

I think they are messing up with pvp gear sets from rank rewards. Just hoping this doesn't turn into panda's pvp where everyone is a massive hp sponge and due to all rank rewards being so good, bg's are 95% bots. Just put good gear in the raids, and let ppl make their own sets...

the headhunter's barbed spear does 1-2 damage hahaha! surely that's a mistake. So the last level 49-50 will be sloooooooooow hahahaha. I can only imagine the amount of XP needed. I don't think I saw any new rune I want for my mage, unlike the balefire bolt hits like a truck of course, but I'm such a spammer I will probably die using it, so staying away from that one. this saves me so much time not looking for runes. I can focus fully on leveling and gold farming for dual spec. Personally, I despise leveling, I wouldn't mind if XP was 10 X faster and we got 10 X gold rewards from quests, but only when you are below level cap so the gold reward is 10X only when leveling. 150% will be so slow. I'm currently leveling 200% now as it is, since my mage isn't 40 yet.

Dont worry, they are gonna screw it up soon enough. The screw up is dual talents, I know I know you think Im wrong but when flying mounts came out we all thought it was awsome. Now we know it was a mistake. Now everyone you meet in the open world is gonna be pvp specced and you will be toast.

I like 7 day lockouts for level 60 but for this phase I dont like that we are only going to get to raid ST about 8 times before we move on again and its irrelevant. At least at sixty previous raids will be relevant after the 2 month phases

I really dont get the hypocrisy hype about Sunken temple ,for years this was the worst dungeon /the least visited and most flamed dungeon in 1-60 bracket and now suddenly you all love it ? come on :D the laziness in the so called SoD from blizzard is mindblowing and this only shows how the player base have changed ...for the worse .copy pasted abilities from 3 expansions ,2-3 refreshed dungeons (same outlay just tuned mobs OFC ) and you all hype about that ? thats a disgrace from blizzard's part nothing else and so many peons fell for it .
