Beautiful! The white Skimmia is a great idea. It is certainly relaxing to make a wreath. I've made so many over the years. With shells, with uncooked pasta and fresh sage, with pink peppercorns etc.
@@FlowerJoos You're very welcome. It is nice to inspire someone and YT is the perfect place to interact with people who have the same interests. Groetjes and have a nice weekend!
I like how the way you work is equivalent to how Gordon Ramsay cooks. Fast and efficient 😆 seriously you move so fast! But that probably because youve mastered this skill already! Thanks
Thank you! 😀 that’s a new one for me, but it’s a great compliment! I’m open to offers where I go into a flower shop and totally upset them for the better good 😊 😀
Really delightful, the feathers are a lovely touch, one wreath for the front door & one as a table decoration, I will be busy but nothing better than creating something yourself, thank you again for your time, I will try & make them as brilliantly as you do :0)
PBR1 we have noblis fir, French ruscus, asparagus fern, skimmia, eucalyptus, pine ( not sure which one ) - but you can use any foliage really - so if you have more pine, use this as a base, if more holly, then use this. Keep an eye out for future videos and when we next use cones we will show that. Essentially you hoop the wire around the cone so it grips in between the spines, and then bring both ends together and twist to secure, leaving a long end to use for putting into the wreath.
Gorgeous as always John! Enchanted Florist is in full on Wreathe mode also! Do you have a preference over a straw or moss base or is it down to cost? Mossing as we speak (taking a wee break for your video though!) have a great day :-)
Rachael Sutherland thank you for commenting. I must say I prefer a moss ring base. It adds weight and has a moisture content which should help the foliage last - but the straw is lovely and clean!
Gay lord hello! Just ask your local florist to add some in. I am afraid we are not set up for posting out orders just now. Alternatively buy a premise wreath and add in some feathers yourself. Garden centres and other retailers now off a range of wreaths just ready to go - so use as they are or personalise 😀🙋🏼♂️
