Hi Marco! Hope all is well. I just placed my order for this smoker with Chris at Lone Star Grillz today. He and his staff have been very helpful. I am looking forward to getting it and seasoning it up! You were kind enough to reply on one of your other videos about the quantity of pork butts, St. Louis ribs and chicken this smoker will hold. I am starting a weekend BBQ gig in Michigan at a friends country store for Friday, Saturday and Sunday gigs. And thanks to all the other comments posted by the other BBQ enthusiasts here, thank you so much for your input, specifically the amount of charcoal you used on your burns with this smoker. I have a stick burner too but don't want to spend all night with it. From what I have heard this smoker will produce excellent Q! Opening day goal for BBQ in conjunction with their 2 year anniversary is May 24th 2019. Thanks again for everyone taking the time to post!
Greg R thanks for your kind words sir. You will not be disappointed with that tank u just bought. I run my bbq restaurant here in Tampa so far with just the IVS. Excellent product and very consistent. I do use the guru because it’s like having an employee out there manning the smoker. Very pleased!!
How do you feel bout the size. I m really torn between this and the mini. I have a Backwoods Party(smaller version of the G2 Party), which the G2 is roughly the same space at the LSG mini. I sometimes wish I had a larger smoker, but the LSG large you have looks monstrous. How is it on smaller cooks? Too large?
Thanks. I also own a bbq restaurant. No way I could use it for that, but I don’t want to use. a stick burner at home either. I do that crap at work. Lol. Want to chill at home. You said it’s built like a tank, but are you happy with product it turns out? Is it comparable to a stick burner that LSG claims?
I got mine in last week. Things a beast. Weighed in at 1200lbs on the shipper. I went with the large because it was only $400 more. I got mine up to temp in 45 minutes and cruised all night for 14 hours on 12 lbs of kingsford during the burn in. These smokers are a true testament of craftsmanship. Don’t hesitate!
@@adanflores04 and how about the amount of smoke on the meat? I am thinking of getting one of there stick burners and a mini insulated verticals. DEFINTELY a stick burner though.
