The fashion press, fashion press opinions, and fashion press personalities have been pretty much rendered irrelevant by social media. Anyone active in fashion social media is a critic. The more followers one has, the more influence one exerts. This may not be necessarily a good thing. With regard to The Row, the brand's control over the image is quite remarkable and perhaps, even required. It's niche after all! So it makes sense that everyone does not need to see the shows when they are expected to be seen. The democratization of fashion and the obsession with celebrity over the past few decades has ushered in a sweeping banality and mediocrity into the fashion landscape. I don't know if fashion will ever recover from it. Perhaps the rigidity of brands like The Row will make fashion interesting again.
loved this panel. absolutely loved this collection from the row. the cashmere sweater over the bag is totally not necessary but humorous and luxurious and makes you feel like you NEED it because it’s something you don’t have.
I just stumbled on this channel and absolutely loved this in depth look to a brand I’m obsessed with. Such fun to watch and the observations were spot on. I’ve found a new channel to binge watch and I’m excited! Thank you!
Great content, but what the heck is this video design? Like just do it like a zoom screenshare with everyone on the side, this is pretentious and just looks like a 6th grader got too funky with Powerpoint
WHY… IS THE LEVEL OF QUALITY ALWAYS GARBAGE FOR THESE VIDS??!! its hard to take you guys seriously when YOU guys can’t provide a decent youtube presentation!
