This show is absolutely iconic. The idea to let the old black, white, and nude colors out of fall and winter and bringing in color is genius; colours that are not bright, but bold! It's a work of art and by far Chanel's biggest year in fashion an absolute highlight.

The purses wrapped like meat packaging was brilliant...but when I heard the overhead announcement (in French of course) telling the SPECIALS just like in a real supermarket...I almost fell off my chair...MAGNIFIQUE!!!!

Instead of doing homework, my brain is telling me to watch fashion shows.... -_-

Cara is so cool. I love how she looks at the groceries coming around the first corner. Gunna miss her on the runway :(

Karl Lagerfeld was absolutely a visionary. He could design clothes so quickly and in such huge quantities, but they were always unique and special, practically every piece. This is what makes him one of the greatest, he truly had infinite silhouettes, textures, and colors in his mind. You know he probably sat and sketched this entire collection in a couple of hours with markers, then moved on to something else, and yet they are impeccably detailed and they all have that undeniable ‘Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel’ character, nothing is diluted. This man lived for beauty and women and style, and it is visible in everything that he touched in his lifetime.

Is it just me, or do these models in the beginning look angry? The walk like they are rebellious teenagers looking for a fight LOL…

Imagine someone wearing these in a grocery store. No matter what this idea was fun, simple and unique. I personally enjoyed it a lot. And at the end when Karl and Cara came togather walking it blowed my heart.

Once in a while i come back to this chanel 2014 show, the music, supermarket look, pinks, cara and of course karl the og at end!! ♥️ what a memorable show!! 💯

Fashion is just like art. In fact, it IS art. However, instead of painting on canvas with impressive strokes like Monet, Karl communicates his ideas through a different medium, clothes. For those of you who might find this collection 'ugly' or not as gorgeous as other collections, there is certainly nothing wrong with such interpretations. But KEEP in mind. This is not about having a classic catwalk and models walking in beautiful garment. This is about concept. Karl is making a reflection on our contemporary society, post-modernism world. The period in which we mix up things together. For instance, he mixes classic tweed long coat with flamboyant sneakers as we're listing to such artist featuring with such artist. And obviously, he uses supermarket as a setting to imply consumerism. I think Karl deserves applause for making a reflective statement on our society with honesty and creativity; and of course a bit of humor, as always. "flies away*

Those that are blind. Take notice. The work that is built in these garments. They are beautiful. You all do not understand how much work goes into each piece. Look at the cuts, buttons, zippers,the lines, stitching etc.. obviously you all have never been educated or know how to appreciate elegance. That's why he is the house of Chanel. The music was killer. I loved the market cat walk. Ingenious! Sorry girls this isn't China manufacturing.

I think it's incredible that he can design something completely different yet maintain the qualities of Chanel, and so frequently reinvent the fashions.

Everytime I want to see something beautiful , I watch this fashion show.

Love the show and I'm loving the emerging trend of wearing chino type shorts on top of pants! Loved the layering of the white shorts on the leather joggers/pants!

Karl is a marketing genius, Chanel will never have a blur on its limelight, they always introduce innovative ideas.

i adore everything about this. simple flattering styling. beautiful models looking fresh. innovative show. well lit and a long walk. i can really see the clothes. chanel goes street again and this time it works. gorgeous soft tweeds. it's elegant and it rocks. which is a tricky combination. love this.
