I purchased one last winter and have taken it out fishing over 25 timed this year without ANT problems. I live it. Easy to load and easy to get around in. In 260 and no problem.
I think this will be my next kayak. I looked at one today when picking up my replacement moken 10v2 from my dealer. I'm really loving everything coming out of the Feel Free family brands.
I currently have a BF120 which I secure in the bed of my truck using mini cargo straps. I run the straps through the built in side handle of BF. I was looking at this yak for its PD system but am concerned with its current side handle design. I'm concerned that I would eventually strip the screws out from the tension created by the cargo straps. What could you tell me to convince me otherwise. Also, are there any plans to place rails on the back similar to the BF set up?
I really like the concept of this boat. My only concern is how will we do maintenance on the boat if there are no hatch or access. Adding lights accessories later on would be kinda hard for the regular consumer, would like to see at lease one hatch to store the battery for fish finders and lights. I also notice that they are no place to brace your feet when just paddling. Other wise I like it and the price is not bad.
Not crazy about that system laying on the prop when pulled out. Probably could rig a bungy to lay the motor on instead of the prop at that end. Just me. Thanks for the review
Just received this kayak. The seat keeps falling down into the kayak. Very poor design and annoying to pay this much to have a seat that behaves like this
How much does it cost to put in a little storage compartment for electronics battery ??? I mean its great there is a budget friendly pdl but an anglers boat with no storage for my battery, extra cable and such for my electronics, thats a deal breaker. Rethink your design seastream . If I can't have electronics on my kayak then its not much of an anglers kayak. Go back to the drawing board.
