Yes indeed. That is temporary. As Alcantara company is extending their production facilities, while re-building, they cannot supply as much as they want. So you just have to wait a little

The Seat FR Sport has the leatherette dash with red stitching and also has the digital cockpit.

hey steven, yes. The nice leatherette dashboard is included in the optional alcantara package which can be ordered for the FR and the Xcellence. At least in Germany. Should be the same in the UK, search the price list for the Alcantara package, it should say the same.

You get the leatherette if you order the FR Sport and you also get the digital cockpit with the sport but not the FR.

It is not in price lists and configurators yet, this was one first exclusive ride for you, we often get the cars ahead. Cant say however in which exact markets they will introduce, but its even not up on the German site yet

Interior of the Fiesta better? No way. I have also drive them both. Seats of the ibiza are much better, and also the lay out of the dash, and the materials are better. The new Fiesta dash is better then the old one, but the ibiza dash is much better. Almost all cars in this segment has hard plastics, except the polo. Thats the reason you pay more. When I drive I don't touch the dashboard. Only the steering wheel and pedals.

Mark false the Fiesta has soft touch instead of hard plastics on the Ibiza. The Seats in the Fiesta are fine to me. Only driven and bought St Line. Maybe the Seats in the normal Fiesta are not so good. For me personally the Fiesta has better materials inside. Pedals are Aluminium on the St Line. Flat bottom steering wheel. Can't find something which is not better then the fr.

Haha, that's cool. I was in exactly the same boat. I went for the Ibiza instead of the Fiesta. The fact that adaptive cruise control and collision warning are not available on a Fiesta in the Netherlands made me choose the Seat. The interior of the Ford is nicer but getting a Fiesta Trend trim level on the st for the price of a Titanium is just to much.

Then the ST must be different I think. I also see a lot of test movies and the (prof) reviewers are talking about hard plastics also. As well on the ibiza also. But, the fiesta ST is also I nice car! I has to choose also between this two, and for me the seat was the best one. Feel bigger, and is bigger, seats where much better for me (I'm a big person) and a lot of options. The FR also have a flat bottom steering wheel, and alu pedals is also an option I've bought. I have the fr business intense. Thats the most complete version in my country, and beside that I have all options exept towbar and red brake claws.

Same thing, FR Business Intense 1.5 TSI evo, Mystery Blue, 18 inch wheels, full led, Alcantara and upgraded drive. If you get the Alcantara package you will get the leather dashboard you see in the blue car. By the way, even my Renault Clio that i bought new in 2013 had a soft dashboard.

Grappig... uit je reactie kan ik herleiden dat je degene bent die ook op seat-online.nl enthousiast over de Ibiza schrijft. 🙂 Ik ben daar zelf niet actief maar toevallig volgde ik dat topic de afgelopen dagen. Ik zag je fotos...mooie uitvoering heb je ook.👌 Ik ben zelf ook blij dat het alcantara pakket zich heeft uitgebreid tot het dashboard. Ik heb zelf trouwens ook de DCC optie aangevinkt.. ben benieuwd hoe dat rijd op een bochtig weggetje. 😁

Haha dat kan kloppen inderdaad! Denk dat je geen spijt krijgt van de DCC! Je merkt het verschil echt goed. Ben zelf ff een filmpje aan het uploaden van de led koplampen in het donker. Kijken of het een beetje goed in beeld komt. Leren dash is echt veel mooier dan dat pianolak. Leuke bijkomstigheid van de alcantara bekleding :)

The engine is pretty good to me. I don't drive a lot, and I need to take care because it's a new car. But it's pretty fast and the engine is silent. Only when you accelerating the engine makes a sporty sound. You also drive to fast soon because the car accelerate so easely. I'm happy with the engine.

You can search for various vehicles. Qashqai diesel doesn't do very well, XC60 diesel not great, 3008 diesel not much better, Tiguan diesel complies with Euro-6...!

Yes, I watch it. Now that you asked, I watch it again. Without absolutely no critics to the review, I was not very convinced: DSG was mentioned that it brings comfort, then later, that D (drive) mode brings fuel economy, few minutes later that DCC in Sport mode makes feeling the bumps. What I am looking for is the answer to: can a small car be comfortable for all the passengers (driver, front and back seats)? or should I look after a higher class: Golf?

I currently drive a Honda Jazz 1.2 MT 90HP.

DSG gearbox is unreliable trust me ive seen it before and if the mecatronics fail and they will the whole dsg bix will go down ! And buying and installing another one is not cheap! Bottom line i prefer manual

The animal agriculture industry occupies 2/3 of all farm land on this planet which cannot be used for direct human nutrition then. That is extremely inefficient. The no.1 cause for deforestation is the animal industry. It is also one of the biggest contributor to climate change. The amount of land, resources, energy and water being used is beyond imagination. And even if you would create a seat completely with petroleum without a recycling share, the amount of oil being used for that is nothing in comparing just to once fueling up your car. In practical reasons, fabric or microfibre seats are just more useful. You do not sweat in summer and it is not cold in winter.
