I was going to buy the Octavia estate style 2.0rdi 150bhp. In Spain it would cost me 33000€. I will buy exactly this car in Spain, next week. Seat Leon xcellence. Estate, nevada white. 2.0tdi 150bhp DSG, for 23500. Nearly 10000€ cheaper than the Octavia. I have had 5 Octavias, but it has now priced it self out of the market. It is no longer a cheap good quality car. It is an expensive good quality car. I pick up exactly the same car as this on Wednesday. Brilliant review.
Excellent and very thorough review, Josip. It’s so useful to have this level of detail, far better than in the magazines, and especially important when at the moment it’s not really possible to browse cars in showrooms. I have a 2016 Leon ST as my ‘daily’ car and I absolutely love it. It’s great to drive, handles well, sharp styling , well built and reliable. I agree with you that the new model is even better. I plan to change my Leon in around 18 months for either new Leon or new Octavia. I like the styling and comfort of Octavia but I don’t think it will be as good to drive and based on that plus your excellent review, I think I’ll be having the new Leon. Keep up the great work 👍🏼
Should I pick the Seat Leon FR or the Škoda Octavia 4? I'm looking for the sporty drive experience of the Leon but the familiar/formal and practical looking of the Octavia, maybe should I wait to the Octavia RS or it doesn't get the price/quality?
@@MAN__IN__BLACK Nah they are not. I would call them "same", Seat is not what its used to be, they improved over everything and especially the quality of materials, interior and exterior. I would go for Skoda or Audi (if the price is same, but its not, Audi is way more expensive with good equpiment and better engine, I'm seeing around 45-50k€ not even brand new) cause they kinda kept buttons, especially the Audi that didnt even go to touch screen with climatization.
