Is the SEAT Mii a good affordable electric vehicle? Keep watching to find out!
The SEAT Mii Electric may look very familiar to you as it shares its platform body etc with Volkswagen and Skoda on the Up! and Citigo. Although not a brand new car, there are a few examples such as the car featured in my video which have covered a mere few thousand miles and are still under manufacturer warranty.

Great review Sam of the Mii. This is what electric cars should be about....fairly cheap and perfect for school runs , short commutes and shopping trips etc. especially if it's a second car. Too many electric cars are huge and mega expensive. Being able to "mix and match" personal cars is surely the answer rather than electric only. Maybe not a popular view these days but it is a realistic one. 🙂

Thank you Andrew! Yes it is a great value option and is perfect for what you mention, I was also impressed by how it drove. It’s not the most premium option but not everyone wants that and for short commutes it would be perfect!

Thank you! Yes the performance is quite good, it wasn’t Up! GTI level but is better than all of the engines once offered on the Mii. I’m sure you’d find it quite interesting being an Up! Owner yourself 😄

Thank you for highlighting the Mii Electric Sam. Note the Mii Electric does have LED DRL’s.

Thanks for watching! I haven’t reviewed the eUP! But I have driven a couple, in terms of battery and how the car handles/drives as well as range, both cars are identical. The Up! has more equipment like a multifunctional real leather steering wheel, and more personalisation options. The SEAT can be had at a lower price and could be considered more sporty!

How bad is the steering wheel? is it soft touch or hard plastic? are theyt the same on the VW Up and citigo? thanks

Hi Phil, the steering wheel is wrapped in a ‘leather like’ material, it’s not like the steering wheels on the base models of the UP! And Citigo which are all made of the same material, likewise it’s not the same as the leather on the higher UP! And Citigo trims which is more premium. It’s in between, I’d say It does feel quite cheap but it’s better than a full plastic wheel!
