I’ve done 2000 miles since June in mine and averaged 5 miles/kW (160 mile range). In summer 5.5, now above 4.5 with about 66% country road and 33% dual carriageway. It’s easy to get good economy if you want to in an EV without being antisocial, it’s also easy to get awful economy if you want to.

@@TotallyEV Silver black roof. Also came with cruise, tints, 2 cables free servicing, and a wall box (promised) for£18800 To get 7kW ac charging see Tedo Nash videos. He also shows how to do lots of improvements to the VW group triplets.

Ordered Jan 6. Special offers for first 300 cars made this about £2000 cheaper than the Skoda, albeit with a few small compromises. You really need an OBD dongle to unlock all the options available. 32A ac charging, aircon temp settings, lane assist switching, coming home lights, and to remove error codes when changing to led bulbs. Twenty20 H4 and side lights match, not road legal but the H4 are not too bright.

Hi. Great video. You mentioned the ride is a bit firm? Is the one on the E-up better? Because reviewers always said the E-up was soft riding and I cant stand firm riding cars.

Glad you liked the video! Indeed it's a little firm in comparison to say a MG ZS EV, or a luxurious Audi A8 L; however, it's a softer ride than the Honda e and the Mini Electric. Sits somewhat in-between. In comparison to the e-up! it's near-identical. Hopefully that clears up the confusion?

Can you still buy a new mii electric new in 2021. I have seen some used ones on auto trader. and I have heard that they will not change from a 7kw wall box only 3kw from some other people.

That shouldn't be the case on the charging front - where did you hear this from? As for the availability, it seems stock levels fluctuate.

@@TotallyEV hi,waiting on leasing company finding dealer with quickest lead time and they estimate between 4 and 10 weeks. Sooner the better! Went for white with black roof.

@@TotallyEV never even driven an electric car before so it's going to be interesting. Car I have at moment is a 1.5l ford focus tdci. Be strange not using the pumps again but it's defo the way forward. And roughly between £4 - £7 for a charge instead of £20 diesel per week? And the lease on electric is £30 cheaper too! Gonna be a £50 saving weekly! Awesome!

Seat Mii Electric is what the mass needs, not those expensive luxurious BEVs including Telsa models lineups. How many people pay $1000 per month car loans for a Telsa, that is just a stupid decision for working class.

It only charges at 7.2 if its 3-phase supply. For single phase (eg UK) it only charges at 3.6 although there may be a software tweak if you can get a dealer who knows how its done

@@bristolview56 you can charge at 7k on single phase.you have activate the car esim then the software can be turned up to 7.k I can get about 160 miles in just over 3 hours during the night.let me know if you need the info

£19,800 for this little car you must be joking. As usual the general public are paying for the research and development costs for the EV traction battery and charging technology. At this price really a telephone holder only to provide entertainment and sat nav how insulting and disgraceful that a car company would have the audacity to do this and expect the general public to pay £19,800 for this and also leave to door cards with the outside paint showing, disgraceful.
