Seattle East Link Light Rail Line 2 - Simulated Train Service Testing 

ST2 is about to be all done except for the floating bridge due to a contractor error so it was delayed to next year and Federal Way which after a landslide occurred and they had to redesign a bridge to be Sound Transit’s longest spanning bridge on the network unfortunately it was delayed a year or two. ST3 is in the planning phase, Everett Link Extension, Tacoma Link Extension, and Ballard Link Extensions recently received new alternatives and Ballard Link Extension is currently having a public comment period. There have been a lot of workshops regarding the new downtown tunnel around the Chinatown area and info sessions are already underway for West Seattle Link Extension. Downtown Redmond Link Extension is nearing the end of construction and will open next year marking the first project of ST3 to open. ST4 does not exist, there have been no mentions of it yet and we are not going to hear anything about it for a long time if we ever get it. After ST3 finishes, taxes will be drastically lowered for everyone again. There’s a good chance Sound Transit will try to pass individual projects after ST3 instead of another massive funding package.

Two cars to start until the floating bridge portion opens to Seattle next year. Then it'll be four cars.

its much cheaper than a separated system, but i do understand the issues with it

It’s very short there are only four crossings in total on a section that is already low speed due to it being one turn basically.
