And now that Seattle has a legitimate top 5 Center in the league (Connor Williams) their offensive line should be much better than last year. Hopefully Abe Lucas can get back soon and play the entire season! You’ve got to give John Schneider credit for signing 1 of the league’s best Centers in August. Still enough time for Williams to learn the offense! The Center is basically the QB for the offensive line. They call pass protections, make sure everyone’s in the right spot, and delivering the ball to the QB every snap! He’s easily the best Center Seattle’s has since the great Max Unger! This signing should pay massive dividends for the Seahawks this year!

Bro, it’s the preseason! Grubb was running a very vanilla offense, obviously because we don’t want teams to see how this offense will truly play come the regular season! Same goes for the defense, Coach Mac ain’t showing his exotic defense to full display for the entire NFL to see! But what a great start to the season. The team looks hungry and motivated to be better than last season! I know it’s the first preseason game, but to hold any NFL 0 3rd down conversations in the 1st half is damn impressive! Couldn’t finish the drive on one of them inside the 5 and the end field goal could have been a TD but PJ Walker overthrew the receiver if I remember correctly. I would say Seahawks have stuff to work on on offense but they only had the interior o-line starters and JSN in for the first two drives and sat all their other first string on offense.

@@johnthefisherman5323 usually if you are designated as the third string you can’t start unless both the first and second string get hurt. I could be wrong but I assume the other guy means Walker won’t be taking Howell’s job as the backup.
