He's a crazed genius and I love him. Honestly the lifeblood of the group. None of his songs sound like anything that's been written a million times before
it’s everyone in an original lineup but eric’s solo work is what sebadoh sounds like, it’s still the same sound. no sap like Lou, Lou just a songwriting fool & he’ll let u dine with him on tour for $100.
@@hellowhirled false Jason’s solo albums sux, no interested in Lou or YOU. u throw vids here, real kewl way of putting it, seriously Eric G is mofo GENIUS. Period end of sentence. Lou simply a solipsism clever enuff to conceal it, I can see it. All about Lou, all about his subjective experience. He can play a guitar he can swim in any motif. Sooooo what. Way way way cooler fools makin music than Lou & Jason
I remember a lot about this show. It was fucking hot in there. They were fire-y as hell. They has just played the indie stage at Lollapalooza earlier in the day and it was the first time they had shared a festival bill with Dinosaur Jr. The show was organized by Dan Plunkett, who would later be the man behind End of an Ear records in Austin.
You don't know where I been Lou!! - The kid in the Nation of Ulysses t-shirt from the gig in june 2016 or so at the mohawk place in Buffalo that I'm sure you won't remember even though you made fun of my mom & I for being there and the whole set gave me permatinnitus. And I've been to plenty of loud gigs before and been fine. The energy that night was fucking VIOLENT. For what? Why come!? Oh yeah, you were stoned and drunk out of your mind. It's okay, so was I. But you probably assumed some shit right awa.. Who the fuck am I kidding, he's never going to read this.
Right on! I always loved the EG tunes. Did an interview story on him a while back. I was back living in Northampton at the time. covermyears.com/where-in-the-world-is-eric-gaffney/
