DereMemo if you're against those religious people who try hard to get more people into their beliefs and also condemn people who don't believe them, I'm completely agree with you.
Sebastian understands, clearly the "hard life" and price it takes to be Vinnie Paul. Love you Sebastian, what an honor to let the world see your pain. Let it all out my man. Peace
Richard Skipper Agree bro! The majority of these celebrities are fallen angels cloaked in bodies. Not saying them all but the ones that escape death & imprisonment. I am starting to believe they are a ruler of darkness,a fallen angel casted into human abodes(born from illuminated bloodline) described in Ephesians 6:12.
Sebastian my wife and I totally respect you I know we don't know you but we're definitely don't want to lose another Metalhead please take it easy on the drinking tonight love goes out to you
That sucks man the Abbot brothers were the VanHalen brothers of metal and will leave a huge void in the metal world. RIP Vinnie go getchoo a pull with your bro and shake the heavens.
Cannibal Superstar why is anyone arguing about something so stupid... This so a video to say goodbye to a great man and musician by a fellow close friend. #RIPVinnie
When your idols growing up start to pass on . I know today I'm contemplating my own mortality. I remember seeing Pantera many times in my early 20's ,immortal, scared of nothing. Vinnie Paul's drumming was an inspiration. Now as a balding arthritic middle age man, mourning him. Life is short !
That's so sad.Huge hugs to you and all those who lost not only a great friend and loved one but to those who also thought Vinnie was awesome. RIP legend.
I saw Pantera and Skid Row back in 94 I think it was. They have been friends for a long long time. In the rock world amongst rock stars, Sebastian is like a little brother to ALOT of these guys. Even ones he is older than. Very emotional. I agree with him that there is solace in the fact Vinnie and Dime are together. Again and forever.
TheMidniteLite Company Yeah I had a slayer VHS tape back in the day that featured behind the scenes concert footage of them hanging out with Sebastian Bach.
I had the honor and pleasure of seeing Pantera in '98 and again in '00. Those were great shows and those two members will be sorely missed. God be with you Dime, Vince as well as friends and family.
TheMidniteLite Company the Skid row/ Pantera tour was in 1992 on the vulgar display of power album. That was the first show I saw them both play. Killler show the next time I saw Pantera was in 1994 with Sepultura. Saw the next one was with White Zombie and the last time I saw them was in 1997 with Anthrax opening up for them. Nope I fucked up the last time I saw them was in 2001 and morbid angel, static X, Slayer then Pantera. Phil was fuckin wasted and fell off the stage after drinking a bottle of wild turkey but when he was on they kicked some ads. I remember dime looking at his brother sgaking his head and apologising to the fans when he fell but Phil got back up and got it together and finished strong. About a month later they were no more. Rest in Peace Vinnie and Darrell.
Seeing Baz cry like this breaks my heart. He's a very emotional person; whether it's anger or sadness it will take him for a ride, but actually seeing this man cry hurts. Also, for those saying "you don't look so good yourself Sebastian", get real. The man is 50 years old and just got off stage. He's physically drained and sweaty from his performance, is weeping at the loss of his friend and is in a low light environment; anyone would look like shit.
Hey Sebastian. I don't know if you remember me but we chatted for a couple hours when you were in Jersey and I was in L.A. You had just left after jamming with Vinnie at Swinghouse. My son Nick was doing the sound for you guys. I know you must feel terrible man. We all do. Vinnie was just a great guy and INCREDIBLE drummer. Take care of yourself man. I know you're a sensitive guy and FEEL shit for real... what it is. Not just words. You're a good guy and I'll always remember my son telling me how patient you were with him with the Mic problems. He had just started at Swinghouse and Aerosmith was doing their last record there. I believe he did sound for you again after that night with Vinnie. RIP Vinnie. You're with your bro now.
We feel your pain, Seb! My God, we do. This is so moving to see. God bless ya, Mate! I am so stunned by this sad news. RIP Vinnie Paul. Please give your Brother, Dime our eternal love and respect. The exact same which we extend to you... \m/
Pantera's legacy is immortal, humans beings are not, unfortunately. Abbott brothers' contribution to heavy music is immense, and it is the gift these two guys left to humanity. I hope Vinnie was happy till the last day of his life, even if I know he went through something really horrible. Dime didn't deserve that, and Vinnie didn't deserve to see his brother killed by some stupid psycho animal. He was a good man, he loved life, friends and most of all, he loved his fans. May he rest in peace along with his brother. See you in the afterlife, hoping there will be heavy music and parties up there. \m/
PaleBlueDot Parties up there? Dude when we get in the spirit finally. We won't need weed to make us feel good & happy, drugs,& drinking. Our souls will have a high that none of these plants on earth could ever give us!
Karen Lopez Get the fuck outta here with that date me bullshit!! This isn't the place to be posting that f*cking trash!! R.I.P Big Vinnie I love n miss you 💔😇😥
Mick9 Pantera's drummer , cofounder and brother of the late + great Diamond Darrell aka dimebag darrell who was 1 of the greatest guitarists to ever play and was also taken from us way too early in life when an asshole murdered him on stage. RIP dime and vinnie I know youre making the heavens roar with great music !!!!!!
Jon N. If the river floods please God dam it ! Rip Vinnie and Darrell Both true legends of Rock who are sadly missed but never forgotten Til i see you up there my brothers.... getcha pull !!!!
A lot of those metal pioneers from the 80s formed tight bonds. Sad to see another legend gone. Thank you for the music, Vinnie. It got me through a rough time in high school.
Life is short make peace with god before you die folks this way you can get to go to our real home after the body falls once and for all May god bless vinnie dimebag sabastion and the rest of us
I fear your right It’s so messed up There’s a video that zak Wilde did for black label society I don’t know the name of the song I forgot but it has him and dime bag depicted when they were young and the end up in some other parallel realm where they meet what’s more likely the devil in it Zak escapes but dime doesn’t It’s very disturbing and please watch it You’ll see what I mean
definitely ! there is no way this was faked , made me cry too ! How many people had a jack & coke when Lemmy died, & now there's a 'Lemmy' drink , people cope in their own ways, they knew each other , it sucks that people don't always get the chance to say goodbye.
Damn. Usually I find out someone's gone by watching tv and a crawler comes across the bottom of the screen. This time, Baz told me. Hate to see him so upset. Love to you, baby.
What a hard life for rock musicians. I’m sure other genres of music as well, but it seems especially so for rock and heavy metal. They lose so many of their friends at such young ages. It seems like it would be and is so great in very many ways to be a rock star, but there seems to be such a price to pay. I loved Pantera. RIP Vinnie Paul.
It's because they're stupid. Brilliant in the ways of music, but really fucking dumb when it comes to common sense and basic values. Look at Sebastian. He's a fucking wreck and his voice is destroyed. He used to be one of the most attractive people with a legendary singing voice. Now he's nothing. I'm just glad I met the guy, he is my favorite, but I learned in my 20's what this shit does and I just hope the rest of these guys find peace before they go. The rockers are dying out and nobody is replacing them, sadly.
Rockstar Rhyno Yeah, Sebastian had phenomenal looks and an amazing voice. He’s still handsome- when he’s not at the end of a concert and overwrought with grief- but he’s compromised his looks and certainly his voice with substances. He better take care now that he maintains his health. That pledge to get “fucked up” our of respect for Vinny’s memory was very disturbing to hear.
Maybe getting " fucked up " contributed to his demise at 54! I loved Vinnie, he was a great guy & I had met him in person a couple of times, but brother loved to party. Our bodies can only handle that excess for so long, our hearts can't take it. Baz needs to think seriously about this as well, we're not getting any younger dude!
No one knows how he died....let me be clear. But that's the Rock Star way. So and so dies of Heroin and one of his friends says "I'm going to shoot a needle for you man!" or so and so dies of Partying to much and the response is to "Get so messed up...Im not going to remember anything!". It's a vicious and ignorant cycle...
I met Bach and Vinnie at Ralph's in Worcester, MA after hours after a show they had at the Palladium. I didn't get to talk with Vinnie for long, but Bach for quite some time. This was many years back. They toured, partied and went through a lot together. Sorry for your loss, Sabastian, to the Paul family and the rest of his friend's and family. This was a big loss or a great man and musician.
@Michael Schoemer I agree you dont have to for some reason that's the belief...but yet again musicians have a hard mental mind dealing with either depression or anxiety for some drugs and booze numbs the pain...
Sebastian Bach is one of the greatest front man I’ve ever seen in my life together with Axl Rose and Steve Tyler , I saw Sebastian Bach with Guns’n’Roses back in 2006 in Sydney , man , Screaming Jets opened , then Rose Tattoo came and rocked my brains out , then Skid Row with Sebastian Bach totally smashed , then Guns’n’Roses came and Sebastian Bach came full on dressed in cowboy tight pants and leather cowboy shirt with spider weds embroidered on it and Sebastian Bach gave a legendary killer performance with Axl Rose , man I was impressed, he walked to one side of the stage to the other , he interacted with the crowd , made jokes and even made pose for photos and he’s fingers when he sand was the best , even Axl Rose said the man with the fastest fingers on the West , man after that concert I’ve became a huge fan , Sebastian Bach rocks man absolutely hands down , them I saw him again in Sydney in 2013 with members of Guns’n’Roses and Deep Purple with this killer band opening for Aerosmith, Poison and Van Halen , this concert was insanity man , Steve Tyler and Sebastian Bach killed man , I felt sorry for Van Helen , I even left the show while Van halen was still playing because Sebastian Bach and Steve Tyler in the same bill opening for anyone you are asking to get your ass kicked ! Sebastian Bach live in concert is one of the greatest Rock’n’Roll performer ever , ever !
Sebastian 93 at eastern creek with Guns & tatts ...When he came out he started a' Drug Rag' on Cobain just when Cobains daughter was born ...it wasnt called for seemed he was drawing attention to himself .
Mick Mick yes my best mate Ben went to this one , he told me they dropped this car from the top into the stage ?? He told me it was insanity , I wish I was on this one ! Good on ya mate .
I would like you see someone shove a fire poker up Alex Rose's ass when he starts the "I-YI-YI-YI-YI" shit and the snake dance (2 times left, 2 times rt).
Besides still being jealous that mister 18 to life has jammed out to the new Tool record, along with Tom Morello and fans still can't wait.I can't help but think back to riding to school and the radio bringing news of DIMEBAG Darrell Abbot passing. As a highschool kid that day sucked and I tried to understand why shits so fucked even though I was just a fan. still hurts now like it did then.
Carlos Lopez I still think that Nathan Gale was a contracted assassin Manchurian candidate paid to take out one of the biggest movers of metal...Darrell Lance Abbott. Who in their right fucking mind, knowing security is around & would be put down.Would jump up on a stage & do what he did? Not even some wacko on heavy drugs would've been that stupid?! This assassination of Dime was plotted,i believe?!
doctornaws agreed.... come on vinne continued to make music but without his brother... its a constant reminder that dime isnt here.... i guess it caught up to vinnie 14yrs later....
doctornaws Very good point! They say it is medically & psychologically possible to die of a broken heart after losing someone you love so much. That possibly could have been? It just took almost 14 years to happen.
You've got a lot of energy and emotion pumping through you when you first come off stage. What a HORRIBLE moment to hear about someone's death. Of course he cried. I hope he had people with him in that next hour or two to help him stabilize.
Naaah people! Why get sober now! Probably be sick in bad health for last 10 years of life... Ride it into the ground to the wheels fall off at this point. Had a good run
Joe Barry LOL wrong....my dad was a HARDCORE alcoholic for 40 years...im talking a CASE of whiskey a week. He has been sober now for 5 years and runs marathons now and I guarantee in better shape than most people you know...its never too late.
Great drummer, and a seemingly nice guy. I hope to God his family may find peace and strength in time as they grieve. . .Notice that I didn't mention anything else? Put compassion first, and save the negativity for another time, or better yet never. -Rest in peace Vinnie Paul
harley1969chuco i was thinking the same bro , got to quit the partying, you're right brother he doesnt look good at all , he's going to probably go on a bender and self-medicate ....so sad ,
I was shocked n heartbroken after hearing the sad news about VP but seeing this vid got choked n teared up 😥 Thank You VP for all the incredible music n being one hell of a great person! Cheers🍻 to you n Dime
Baz you brought tears to my eyes man. That is how we all feel. Every true fan knows your brotherhood with Dime and Vinnie taking you on the road and you took them on the road. Rock The Fuck On brother.
my step dad drank him self to death, so nothing good comes from drinking, and after u get sober, he will still be gone, better ways to deal with things then alcohol
I felt the same way when I heard he died. He was a big, loveable, sweet, very talented guy, with a huge heart, and I often think about him and Dimebag, and I choke up everytime i do, cause it´s totally unfair, that these two talented human beings, died way before their time....😭......R.I.P............Love you both..............oh and Sebastian too obviously.............❤
Fucking hell that just wrecked me. Coming off stage so jacked up and getting such awful news couldn't be a bigger kick in the taint. It's rare to see such raw true emotional reactions these days. RIP Vinnie, thanks for the tunes.
Finding it hard to believe he's gone wtf!. Poor poor guy 😓 They 2 brothers are ingrained in my memory, and most people out there won't know what it was like having amazing dudes like this in ur youth. RIP Vinnie
