In 1993, I told my Korean student that I liked a couple of Skid Row songs and he gifted me with a cassette of Slave to the Grind. I still have it with me today (2024). Such a special memory.

Loved this song when it came out. Brings back so many memories like it was yesterday. I know we all get old but this is so sad that I couldnt watch the whole song. 😔. Now I have to go listen to the original to get this out of my head.
@@Cynyc-pq2pc oh I know he's not the way he was back then just meaning the voice itself can't mistake who its and his pitch was pretty good considering he what early 70. Look at poor Bon Jovi dude can't even hardly carry a tune anymore.
Sang it differently in a different octave on some parts, and passing high notes to the audience. Too much echo in the effects. But still a rocking icon!
He drinks wine for his heart he really needs to find a drink for his voice. Shame that we have to get old and everything changes, our appearance and our voice but props that he's still giving it hell

It sounds like people don’t like my response here lol. I am not saying he’s a better singer now than in his prime. I’m saying this performance was off pitch and not great. I’ve heard better recently though he of course is aging. There was zero criticism to the person that posted it or the fact that they like it. He was just way off pitch. I’d bet my life he would say the same thing. I have pretty good taste. Thought Skid Row were awesome in the day. It is okay to not love a single performance and not think it’s going to tick anyone off.
Sebastian is a legend, and I am all for nostalgia, but this is really, really sad . Sebastian Bach ,I remember you, but who you were doesn't exist anymore. This isn't your life anymore. Find value in who you are now I assure you it's there.
When he is speaking, he sounds like Donald John Trump to me. Sorry.No offence. I still have their two early albums I've been listening to since they came out in 1989 and 1991.
