Not exactly. He's been doing it a long ass time but has only had mediocre successes relative to his contemporaries. This movie with Scorsese and De Niro is his biggest accomplishment. Hopefully even greater things in the future. He's great!

I must be part Jewish cause I have many Jewish friends that are laid back but I HATE being seated too close to the kitchen where there's all of this waiter traffic back and forth and I always have to sit facing the entrance cause I'm paranoid somebody's gonna come in with a gun and I want to have time to duck if possible hahaha! People need to let go and laugh more. I felt sad that he had to preface his jokes so nobody would be insulted. I ❤️ this guy. Like somebody else said... old world humor, family food and life.
