I was just thinking how he's the funniest cat out there right now and was wondering why is he just recently blowing up. But honestly that's the comic game. Bill Burr was the same way.... Watched him for years then all of a sudden 'overnight' success! These comics have to put in the blood sweat and years, most of the time, before they blow. I'm happy it's his time now!!
He’s a funny guy and manages to be entertaining without being crude, vulgar or dirty.....that’s one of his biggest strengths whether he knows it or not. When a comedian respects his audience they respect him back.....it works that way.
Daniel Graham I’ve watched most of his videos and have never heard him swear, cuss or use any profanity on stage, but he can get edgy and be pretty blunt and critical in his observations about people.
17 years later... My husband STILL has the napkin I wrote my phone number on the night we met at a bar. Bret Michaels from Poison was playing that night, & we danced. Been together ever since!
This is exactly how it was growing up in the 80's and 90's, lmao. So accurate. Now, it's online dating sites, no socializing or interaction at all😢 man they were the best years!!!!!!
JF R yes it is that way they could laugh at you guys all the way to the bank with something naturally we had ...therefore STILL STRIKING out...we were the dancers intentionally not dancing with you guys at the clubs so that you would come to the strip bar instead ha ha God those were good times :). 😉 wink🙈
Ah, yes....a trip down amnesia lane...house music, 90s breakdancing, the songs that were undanceable, it's all coming back. Your feet stuck to the floor by the bar, so classy.....good times!
I saw him live at Radio city a few years back. What amazed me was he was out there for an hour and a half and remembered all his material. I can’t remember why I went into the kitchen lol!!
Just saw him last night in St Augustine, Florida It was amazing!I guess I expected nothing less than exactly what I’ve seen in all the videos. He absolutely does not disappoint! Just do it lol cause I’m already wanting to plan seeing him again
You have the Me Too movement, the 3rd wave feminism, social media, and rude women with poor social skills to thank for that. A simple ask to dance in a club nowadays can end up in a mean rejection or a day in court with a false sexual assault accusation that can ruin a man's life beyond repair. The juice isn't worth the squeeze
@Sweet Bliss If I had a daughter, I would raise her in a way that given the moment, I’d trust her judgement, not other men’s. I would raise her to know it is a bad idea to get involved with a man who treats her poorly, regardless of his socioeconomic status or physical attractiveness. I would raise her to treat everybody with dignity, courtesy, and consideration. What’s trusting men got to do with anything I said anyway? If anything, today I wouldn’t trust any woman in a club or a bar. Trust is earned, and a sizable number of North American women have done everything in their power to make sure no one ever trusts them. From false allegations to manipulations, to cheating, to abuse of the system. And all that with blessings from the government and society. I understand there are low quality men out there, yet many women keep sexually rewarding bad behavior and mistreatment from such individuals. When was the last time you dated a modern American woman?
@Sweet Bliss Here you are the one complaining about men complaining about women “painting them badly.” What bubble do you live in? Men who see other men as a threat to their daughters are either insecure of their parenting skills (as they should be) or projecting their own untrustworthy selves onto other men. Today, the majority of young girls grow up without a father figure. They are raised by their single mothers, so in many cases they tend to imitate the behavior of their mother. Girls raised by single mothers are more likely to lead a promiscuous sex life. They are more likely to end up in abusive relationships. They are more likely to get into alcohol or drug addictions. They are more likely to treat good men poorly. They are more likely to end up in poverty. Funny how you get all defensive when someone asks for women accountability but are very quick to demand men’s accountability. We are in this together but you have to show some empathy to get some empathy back.
I spent three years bouncing in the same club in North Jersey in the 80s. I remember you guys. It was like watching a national geographic special. "The female has rejected the males advances and the male pretends he doesn't even need a girl to dance. It's a sad and lonely story that's been told time and time again in the wilds of Perth Amboy.
Brings back memories of dancing at clubs. I remember the awkwardness of "watching each other move" and having the "stupid dance face" as Sebastian demonstrated. 😂😂
I am Mexican American and grew up in Los Angeles but I can totally relate to this . Our place was called the Quiet Cannon in Montebello California . Sebastian rocks man love his comedy . Greetings from Cali !
Living in Chicago from 94-06...this is spot on! No touch dancing, the occasion lean in chit chat and the "I can't dance to this." I miss Crowbar and Dome Room back in the day. Great Era in clubbin'!
LMAO 😂 love this! Why is my hair vibrating?! 😂And Cavaricci's were the thing back in my high school days! Had to have the belt & do the tight roll to the bottoms! With the I.O.U. sweatshirt! 😂
I used to dance in the clubs all night til i sweated my hair into wet strands and my clothes were wet, ! We d go to a club by a military base full of Puerto Rican soldiers who’d been locked up in basic training! Ha ha they merengues and salsa danced and twirled you ALL around, !Boy those guys were some dancin MACHINES!😂🤣 They wouldn’t even let you sit down they’d like grab you away from one to the other and SLING you around,!What fun that was! Nobody shooting or fighting or hanging at the bar....they were ALL out there dancing nonstop! Lol
Sebastian if your ready this let me tell you something, if we started a conversation we would talk for hours because in my forties looking back at my upbringing, family, out in public issues we're identical beings. "what's wrong with people ?, "aren't you embarrassed ?". You're amazing, stay YOU.
I remember watching this special on Showtime years ago. It was one of the funniest, most relatable comedy specials I had ever seen, and I couldn’t believe I’d never heard of this guy! I DVRd next time it came on and showed everyone and anyone that came over, and everyone reacted the same way I did, not one ounce of fat on that entire special. Every joke landed and killed, everyone laughed their ass off like I did. Two things, we knew that we had to see this guy live, and that he was gonna be huge. We were lucky enough to get to go to see his next showtime special in Chicago and he absolutely blew up to be one of the biggest comedians in the world today! Well deserved, he is amazing Live! If you get the chance, highly recommend!
Brings back great memories of my napkin-handing days back home in South Florida. Yes, the guys we met were funny and made us laugh first. Innocence really, and there is nothing like it today.
This jesus of Nazareth, the “offspring of David”, WAS NOT Who died for our sins, YaH The Heavenly Father WAS and here is the Proof HERE is The REAL MESSIAH, Who they REALLY Crucified for the sins of man From the Dead Sea Scrolls Exodus 3 Scroll, "Yad He Vav He" is what Moses wrote Paleo Hebrew Direct Translation Yad "Hand" He "Breath" Vav "Nail" He "Breath" YaH's Name: (Ya)d + (H)e, as YaH is what Moses called Him as well all throughout the Book of Isaiah and Psalms, "this is My Name for all generations" (Exodus 3) YaH The Creator: Yad He, (Hand Breath), as YaH's "Hand" Formed man from the dust of the Earth and His "Breath" made him a living being (Adam) YaH's Sacrifice of Crucifixion: Vav He (Nail Breath), the "Nail" through the "Hand", that whosoever shall call YaH Savior, His Breath brings forth life (Salvation) How YaH arrives: YaH arrives via the Tent of Meeting (Exodus 33:7:11), NOT through childbirth (Isaiah 45:10) Why they demanded YaH to be Crucified: YaH was Crucified according to Hebrew law (Deuteronomy 21), to be Hung on an Almond Tree for BLASPHEMY, as the Messiah claimed He was YaH. pamalojo Don’t need them, I’m sharing YaH’s Name, you know, Who Created the Heavens, Earth, Sea, Who Created Adam from the dust of the Earth. You don’t like it, I don’t care
I love that he doesn't need to curse and be foul...he is brilliant and especially because he has a family and children, I just love that he found a way to be so funny without cursing. Bravo Sébastian!!!
That’s exactly how my husband of 35 years got me, he still has the napkin with my phone number on it. It took him 2 weeks to call me and ask me out, to which I said “NO!” I was furious he waited 2 weeks and figured he wasn’t serious and I was a last resort. The man was relentless after that calling me every few days, I finally said I’d meet him at a restaurant for lunch just to get him to stop calling, that’s where he told me his mom had died the day after we met and he was grieving. 😳😳😳😯😯😬😬😬
