The story goes when him and Thor first meet Sebastian could actually out-bench Thor at the time, given the weight and size difference Thor said ‘where do I sign up’.
The judge made him wait extra long on the 3rd attempt bench to tell the spotter to not stand close to her?? That's gotta be frustrating, holding weight like that for even an extra second makes getting the rep incredibly more difficult.
@@Dr_Footbrake some feds only require the spotter to clear the area in front of the referee, others require the referee to move around the spotter, some as you say require the spotter to be completely off the platform, as in ProRaw. And as you say, far from his first ProRaw.
He said in a video with Thor that he likes it in line with his diaphragm. Bas said he can brace better against it. There is no best way. Each person can have a different "best way" for them.
@@alexpark1694 Not more air. Think the stomach was a ballon and when you fill it up with air it can press against the belt and create stability round your core. Having the belt high or low is a matter of choice for every person, it depends where you want to get extra stability, belt low= lower back, belt high= your core (but then you dont get it on your lower back) What is best is individually beacuse it depends on were you are strong and were you are less strong, your weak spots. Try and find out for yourself but remember...there are no right or wrong here, only what works just for you.
