🐑✂️ Watch Sebastian, our adorable sheep, as he gets a fresh new haircut!
Ever wonder why we shave our fluffy friends? Here's why:
Sometimes, sheep like Sebastian need a trim for their own health and comfort. Without regular shearing, their wool can become tangled and uncomfortable, leading to skin issues and overheating. Regular shearing keeps them happy and healthy! Furthermore, shearing isn't just for style - it's also about keeping our flock clean and cozy. By removing excess wool, we reduce the risk of pesky parasites and make it easier to spot any skin issues or injuries.
Stay tuned to see Sebastian rocking his new look! 🐑💇‍♂️

Bought a small flock of sheep last fall, their wool was overgrown, but we didn't want to shear them because our winters get pretty cold. This spring, I'm having to do very similar choppy shearing like in this video. It's so tangled and matted, I can't get the comb into parts of it, because I think it's been close to two years since they've been sheared. Like you said, definitely took way longer than the handful of minutes that you see in other shearing videos
