The SEBI Grade A 2020 Exam is one of the top exams of 2020 and the notification for this exam is out now. What should be your preparation strategy for SEBI Grade A 2020? In this video I will show you how to become SEBI Grade A Officer in 2020 and a detailed strategy for Phase 1, Phase 2 and also the interview stage of this exam. I will also discuss about the eligibility requirements for SEBI Grade A and show you the eligibility for each of the 7 different streams of SEBI. The SEBI Grade A Phase 1 exam is going to be held on April 12, 2020 and the Phase 2 Exam is going to be held on May 3, 2020. You are saying don't worry about phase 1. But the thing is vacancy is too low therefore cutoff will be too high for phase 1.

You don't understand. Cutoff is 80. All who score 80 out of 200 (min. 30 in paper 1 & min. 40 in paper 2) will be selected for phase 2.

@@SupriyoPanda I have gone through notification, and this is what I concluded for clearing phase 1 we've to just clear the provided cut offs NO 10 times candidates will be called like previous year. And for clearing phase 2 clear the given cut off plus come under 3 times the no. Of vacancy. Am I correct??

Sagar, SSC CHSL ka prep bhi karte raho ek saat.. that exam is also very good. Actually sach batau toh abhi Banking me kaafi zada pressure h aur mere khud k kai dost CHSL aur insurance me jana chah rhe h.. toh especially insurance and CHSL ki taiyyari theek se karo, all the best!

Hi Manideepa, The best mock for phase 1 is provided by Olive Board. You can choose Practice Mock or Gradeup as an additional test source. For Phase 2 mocks are not enough (this phase has more to do with you covering the entirety of the syllabus- Edutap can help but not completely).

Hey sir, My doubt is ..in notification they have mentioned 30% in paper 1 and 40% in paper 2 and aggregate cutoff would be 80/200(i.e 40%)..so this cutoff is same for all???or categorywise( obc,sc,st)there might be any fluctuations as well according to you sir???...

Bhai you are doing a great work. I have one query : I am in my M.Com final year and the exams will be held in June and the result will be out in mid-August. Am I eligible for sebi grade A? I have mailed them regarding that but didn't get a convincing reply. In the notification it is mentioned candidates must have written the final exam and waiting for result can apply. Please help.

Thank you Swastik. I'm sorry brother, you are not eligible this time. As stated in notification you must have already written your final exams to be eligible. Use this time to prepare for the upcoming exams. Many more will come and you can use the intervening months to build up your knowledge. Invest in yourself & by 2021 you will be a top notch candidate. Sir,but why there is only less deduction in IBPS PO gross salary to in hand salary compared to SEBI ? SEBI has gross salary of 107000/- but gets 85000/- according to you but IBPS gross salary is not that much but still getting 53000/-(appro) in hand salary. Why ? Please reply....

Number of questions is not mentioned in the mentioned. Usually there are 2 markers and 1 markers in such types of papers (30 of 1 markers and 35 of 2 markers) but SEBI might come out with entirely new pattern as this year they have changed the syllabus.

Contact your local authority (like Tehsil, Municipality etc.) and keep your docs ready like 1.Income certificate 2.Caste Certificate 3.Property Certificate 4.voter ID Card 5.Aadhar Card 6.Passport Size Photo They will make you fill up some forms and you will get it.

Yes you can fill the form if you can get your degree before the final selection. Just fill the form and appear, it will anyways be a learning experience.

No Gaurav, unfortunately you are not eligible. Don't worry you are very young, take this time to make yourself fully prepared for all the upcoming exams. Competition is getting tougher so you can start right away so that in a few months when you start being eligible you can go full steam ahead. More good exams are coming in 2020! Good luck!

Apparently, despite notification stating that final years must have finished with their exams, the SEBI HR team is giving contradictory answers to emails (different HR person is stating different facts). We tried calling/emailing them with varying levels of success & realized in the end that they are as confused as we are. So, *MY SUGGESTION* : Try to fill up the Online Form. If the form allows you to fill everything up, you proceed with your application & make the payment. *NOTE* : When you are finally selected for SEBI they will DEFINITELY need to see your Degree so if you do not get it by then you won't be able to join. If you get it by then, you are in the clear. Instead of relying on confusing statements by their God awful HR I suggest you just fill the form. The worst that can happen is you lose the 1000 rupees but if you sit for the exam you will gain experience which is worth a LOT more.

@@SupriyoPanda Actually sir, i had filled my form on 11th itself and was preparing for the exam accordingly. However, when I saw your video I gave up thinking of being ineligible. But as you say that there is confusion regarding same. I am thinking to resume my preparation again. So, sir what will be your final piece of advice?

Hi Sabita, I have not made any separate video on Official Language (Rajbhasha) post because of a technical problem in this year's vacancy list. The problem is this: this year SEBI had a GEN vacancy for Rajbhasha but last time they could not fill the HH(Hearing Handicapped) seat. So, that back log vacancy is being carried forward to this year. You can definitely fill the form for GEN in this stream but if they find a HH candidate then that person will get preference. If not, then they will take GEN (so chances of that are very low, I would suggest only HH to apply for this..) So, I'm suggesting most candidates to avoid this post.

@@SupriyoPanda Sir,but why there is only less deduction in IBPS PO gross salary to in hand salary compared to SEBI ? SEBI has gross salary of 107000/- but gets 85000/- according to you but IBPS gross salary is not that much but still getting 53000/-(appro) in hand salary. Why ? Please reply....

Hi Fizah, I assume you are referring to the Code of Civil Procedure 1908. The syllabus mentions both Part 1 and Part 2 so orders are covered in it, but weightage of (CPC+Law of Evidence+Criminal Law) in total amounts to only 15%. So I don't think you need to cover every order in detail (cost benefit is not good). Try and cover the length of the syllabus first and then go for breadth, hope you get what I mean by that.

I don't think so.... many people are confusing aspirant about this.....but in truth 80 is minimum cut-off and you also need to come in merit list which might be 10 times the vacancies..... else number of aspirant clearing prelims will be too high....

@@sonu3258 Before throwing allegations, watch the video carefully from 17:23 to 18:24. Then go and read the notification PDF again. Should we assume SEBI is lying? And we should trust your expert analysis instead of what SEBI wrote in the PDF? Yeah right.

@@SupriyoPanda Don't get angry man....not just you but many people have made the same mistake....Edutap people are also saying there will be merit list after we clear cut-off.....bcoz 80 marks fixed cut-off don't make sense....no job exam in India as per my knowledge hv a fixed prelims cut-off....but if in any stroke of luck you are right then I will be most delighted.... ☮️

Yes. Mostly it will be MCQ based like the questions asked in UGC NET exam. So no need to cover too much indepth. I will try and come up with a SEBI question series to help you out.

Engineers will be needed to maintain infrastructure they have. Not much work is there, mostly on standby they will keep you & for urgent upkeep, so it is a very good and tension free job for electrical, civil etc. streams

Very important to write something every day. You don't know to get it checked, you just have to keep writing. Language is like that. You cannot always use technical stuff, you have to FEEL the language. 20-20-20 method I recommend yo eveyone: Every day for 20 mins watch some podcasts, for 20 mins read a topic & for 20 mins write down a summary of what you read. Even if you don't have anyone to check your work within 1 month your English skills will skyrocket.
