This is super helpful vacuum porn. I have a K3 and a C2, and was about to order another K3 when I saw video on the E3. (I have 4 levels to my house and 3 dogs, so a vac on each floor is warranted!) I love the K3 but the E3 appears to fix a few annoyances: 1) you don't need the crevice tool to use the upholstery brush; 2) there's a button to retract the power cord. Sounds like the tube is "improved" though I've never had an issue with clogs. E3 also appears to be a little lighter than K3. I wouldn't buy anything without a power head if you have dogs and carpet, and this is still 1200 watts in the U.S. I bought the E3 in red, and can't wait to get it. FYI for anyone contemplating bagless vs. bagged: I had a very expensive bagless from a famous company that touts its machines as fixing all the problems with bag machines: they're messy, and clog. That's essentially projection, because nothing clogged more or was messier than a bagless machine.
I'm happy we've met this way! How would I have known that you were a fellow vacuum enthusiast if you didn't have a turbo nozzle in hand? That machine costs $989.00 over here.
If you call a distributor direct, they can give a discount -- they're just not allowed to advertise a price below a certain amount. I was just able to get 15% off, free shipping, no sales tax.
I adore your videos and keep rewatching a couple this being one of them! Thank you for all the entertainment you’ve provided over the years Rodger! I have a question I’m on the basis of using an old Vax A rated on everything I got for free and I really want to upgrade to a Sebo I’m between the E3 and the D4 which I’m rewatching that video on the pc currently 😅🙈 the price is the same with the E3 being only £20 more... basing in a large Flat... that’s around the size of a 3 bed house! What would you recommend in my shoes which would you pick for yourself the E3 or the D4?
@@andrewschannel3635 I don’t agree with that. I have the E3 and a two story 3 bed, 2.5 house that’s 50% carpet and 50% laminate/faux wood. It’s 1,850 square foot. What I like about the E3 is the ease of transporting it up and down stairs. The D4 is wonderful, but perhaps not as portable.
Can I buy the small air driven turbo brush with that for use on stairs, or is there some reason why it won’t fit? Also is there any advantage in a Felix over this machine given that they use the same turbo head
I am really curious about the airbelt. The reason I bought a Miele in the past and not the SEBO was based on the fear that the airbelt will blow air into dirty and un-cleaned space. (I have mainly hard floors)
The air belt diffuses the air and only causes a light flow of air from the machine. I have never noticed any of my airbelt cleaners blowing dust about.
Hello when will you be doing the dyson dc01 destijl toy and Samsung quiet jet? The ones you posted on Instagram. Doesn't need to be soon just wondering
I stand corrected. We are getting screwed here in the US on Sebo pricing. The current price for the E3 Premium is considerably more than when this video was filmed at 379.99 pounds or $510.90 USD. Nearly half that of the sale price of $999.99 USD. Ridiculous.
Hi, great content and new sub! :) I'm an allergy sufferer with wall to wall carpet in my house (I know!) I know that SEBO have their proprietary filtration system called S Class, which is similar to HEPA performance wise. Does this have S Class filtration or could it be upgraded to that easily?
I have one but I hardly use it because it's verry awkward in my opinion especially with the hose and I had to get the cable rewind replaced because it jammed and I'd hardly used it but it's a good cleaner
Deb Hi normally because I'm a collector I use a variety of cleaners but use one machine a week but despite how poor at cleaning the dc01 is I love it because it revolutionised vacuums forever more I also use a hoover junior 1012 turbopower junior and a range of vintege hitachi vacuum cleaners my favorite being the cv560d but the most used vacuum I own is the sebo x4 xtra pet eco boost because it's effortless I own around 22 vacuum cleaners as a younger collector my family don't like vacuums around the house 😂
i can't decide on this or the d4! is it the same cleaning power? would there be a scenario where the +/- on the d4 handle better than the sliding suction control on the e3? is the e3 easier to maneuver? and does the white look better in person than the black?
The E3 now has the plus and minus buttons on the handle the same as the D4. You can see it in this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TmNxvzbwwRM.html The D4 is a bigger cleaner with a longer cord and bigger bag, but they have similar performance.
Hi Roger. can I change the bumper airbelt on my E3 premium and if so wear dobi look IV been searching for a week and I can't find nowt. Many thanks Tommy
Thanks Roger. My pile is half inch deep saxony in one room and half in twist in another, and local store recommends X7 pet over this, but I’m not convinced having watched your X7 video. What would you recommend?
Apart from the additional costs for bags, is there a big difference in performance between a bagged vacuum and a bagless vacuum? If you had two similar models from each brand, both a bag and bagless, which do you think would win on performance?
Contrary to the commercials, it's bagless that are messier, more prone to clogs, and lose suction. I used to have one of those very expensive bagless and learned the hard way. Then I tried a Sebo and loved it so much I bought another one used. Just ordered my third -- the E3 -- so I have one on every floor of the house. #doghair
Does anybody know if this vacuum does have a brushless motor? If it has you should recognize it by the black particles in the after motor filter. So if it gets black I would assume it has a conventional brushed motor.
As far as I know all newer Vorwerk VK and VT Series have brushless motor as they don't offer a post-Motor HEPA Filter which is necessary if the would have a brushed motor to also filter the carbon particles. They use special filter bags which very good filtration so in combination with brushless motor theres no need for a post motor filter :-)
Roger, can you help please. I just bought the e3 but the control on the handle has plus and minus buttons rather than the slider control. Would a replacement hose/handle, with slider control, work? I am not worried about the boost function on the plus/minus control. I can't seem to find an answer anywhere else but you know your stuff
Until your comment, I didn’t realise that Sebo had changed from a slider to push buttons on this model. As both my versions are in storage at the moment, I can’t check, but I can see no reason why the hose with the slider control won’t work on the later model. You would of course have to find somewhere that sells the old hose as a spare because I can only find the new version on sale.
Sorry, I have been away, but I don’t tend to do individual shout-outs any more but I sometimes do question and answer sessions when you can ask a question and get a shoutout.
