It's pretty simple 'Supply' and 'Demand' Mark my words. In the near future there will be spot ETFs in each category in the digital currency market. Government entities, asset management firms, global banks and public/private pension funds are already adding Bitcoin/Ethereum to their balance sheets with plans to add more currencies soon

You are very kind calling it a pivot. Gensler has been humiliated and forced to change trajectory. It was his choice to regulate in this fashion, rather than join with the industry and the CFTC to propose legislation, he chose enforcement action. He did not foresee (and neither did his sponsor, Elizabeth Warren) the impact on Democratic re-election hopes until it was too late. Pragmatism did not come into the equation only blind ambition. The saddest thing is that he could be correct and the house of cards may, at a point the future, come tumbling down. If so he is doubly wrong given he had the opportunity to do better but was driven by ideology rather than pragmatism.
