A few SEC teams had some very close calls this past weekend and to make sure they got the W, they turned to the one institution known for helping out college football teams in need; the Miracles Department.
@@campagnollo thought the UGA guy was going to try to hide it by saying we are playing the "Tigers" ..and let them wonder which ones... Clemson, LSU? Who. But yeah we struggled and so did the refs that game...poor Carter. Anyhow glad we got W and it is over. Sorry Missouri but you tried really hard and scared us good...update 11/14/22: so turns out Mizzou is competitive but only for about three quarters and TN had trouble at Home with them so they could be good next year and I don't feel so bad about UGA score against them now, bc we were Away and offense had an off day and the three quarters thing was true then too.
@@imissthe90s24 This is your opinion . I'm an old man and I've lived through 2002-2007 when Auburn won six straight Iron Bowls and they rubbed our nose in it every day . I'm enjoying this run and I know that it will end one day hopefully not today . Roll Tide .
LSU vs Auburn can never just be a normal game, can it? There’s almost always some craziness going on, whether it’s on the field, coaches in danger of getting fired, earthquakes, buildings catching fire. It’s almost always a very competitive game, regardless of how good or bad each team is.
@@highspeednerf4661 I was away at a different game Saturday so I didn't get to watch the Georgia game yet, but it feels like one of those "runner's high" situations. Like you feel tired, but when you're near the end and/or see someone about to pass you, you get/find this extra energy and give it all you got to make sure that doesn't happen. We got that extra push and made sure we won so we could stay undefeated.
As an Aggie, we used up all our Miracles against Arkansas. The Heaven's Department gave us Jefferson trying to dive for a TD at the 4, fumbling, then scoop and score 97 yards the other way, AND a game winning doink off the tippy top of the upright. No more miracles will be granted this season.
Not even an SEC fan, but this is my favorite college football channel. Y’all are busy and hustle your butts to write the content, film, and edit on such short timelines. Well done
"I promise I won't call you next week when we are down by 21 to Tennessee." OMG I was dying. Being a Vols fan, I hope this is true, but my BVS is on overload right now so in my head I fear it to be the opposite. I wish this group could do different conferences throughout the week. There is so much golden material available for the creative people here.
@@HD_tempest - Miss St has an offense, too. Better not count them chickens before they hatch. Tennessee's two marquee wins were Florida by 5 and Pitt in OT. Pitt is 12th in the ACC, Florida is 12th in the SEC.
I just knew there’d be something somewhere about the dudes stomach bouncing in the booth when they were celebrating 🤣 one of the best parts of college football being back, SEC Shorts!!
I watch SEC games now and say “I wonder what the Shorts guys are going to do with this one.” Seriously, thanks guys. I love what you’re doing to bring us all together.
I couldn't help but think of how Auburn was going to be treated when we were up 17-0. I guess that's my own fault for forgetting the last 2 years of 2nd halves against P5 opponents.
*prescient Omniscient technically works, but not for common usage. Prescience is knowing the future. Omniscience is knowing everything. The future is technically included in everything, but “omniscient” isn’t used for that. It typically refers to a deep and extensive, even uncanny, knowledge of things going on in the present. Like mass surveillance or someone incredibly attuned to gossip. Omniscience can also refer to what God or gods know/understand. This is a more strict definition of omniscience and can include the future depending on your personal beliefs about free will vs destiny.
That's three straight games lost to Ole Miss in the series by 3 points or less (7 points total since 2017). And the second straight where just Kentucky's kicking problems was enough to decide the outcome. It's getting weird by this point.
Hilarious!!! Georgia in a back room whispering was just way too funny and then when he says who they are struggling with and the eruption of laughter on the other end of the line!!!! So great!!! I look forward each week for SEC Shorts, y'all are simply Awesome!!!
Hilarious episode, as usual! Georgia fan here. "...Nothing, just Missouri being Missouri." Pretty funny stuff, but I'm pretty sure we got some divine intervention too! 😂
I'm shocked with all the SEC football fans and other football fans out there who appreciate hilarious content that this channel doesn't have way over a million subscribers. So good every week!
The rest of us are jealous of the sec simply because of sec shorts. (Well and the money and the exposure, and the prestige and the competition but still sec shorts are awesome)These are brilliant! Love it. Thanks
I'm just glad Mississippi State got mentioned in a positive way on SEC Shorts. I think the Texas A&M game just showed that State's loss to LSU was an anomaly for them this season. State never really recovered from that muffed punt against LSU. That's just how it goes sometimes.
Should have had a last bit in there with Oklahoma calling for a miracle against TCU and the Angel being like "sorry, this line is for current SEC members only, let me redirect you to the Big 12 miracle line", then watch as Oklahoma panicks and is put on hold indefinitely the rest of the video as TCU keeps scoring on them. 🤣🤣🤣
When I saw the title, I knew you were going to roast my UGA Dawgs and you did brilliantly. I spit beer out my mouth, nose, and ears while laughing so hard. Love you guys....
I knew UGA was going to get (deservedly) speared this week in SEC Shorts! Well done. But I miss the closed caption comments this week...that additional commentary is priceless!
Lol. If you can laugh at yourselves it is totally with it. Dawg fans here and we probably laughed harder than anyone at this because it is accurate and the Hope skits last year were soooo good because soooo TRUE. When he was macing her last year, I was like shouting get her ,get ,her and crying while laughing at the screen because these guys are spot on week after week and Dawg fans have had a toxic codependent relationship with hope for decades. AND Check out Matt Mitchell RU-vid channel as he is hilarious. His two weeks ago about the SEC Monday meeting with cupcakes was as good if not better than the SEC shorts!! He is hilarious and does south vs. Midwest videos too you might like. Have a good week
Wow!!!! This Was Amazing! Even As A DAWGS Fan, I Felt Exactly How GA Was Portrayed In This. We Gotta Get Our Act Together Or We'll Visit The Loss Claims Department. Great Laugh Tho 😂😂. Thank You SEC Shorts.
Bama fan here. That 3rd quarter will go down in history. Arkansas played lights out. Need to work on 4 quarters but you guys got something going and have a good team.
As a Bama fan, I approve of this and would watch B1G Shorts if there was such a thing. I would definitely think that Iowa would have to be in there. Can anyone explain to me why Kirk Ferentz makes so much money? I think the administration there should either force him out or tell him that he must hire a new offensive coordinator and bring his offense into the 21st century.
@@jasonmanley7815 We don't poke fun at Iowa... cause its all fun and games until someone feeds them extra corn flakes on game day and they put up 55 points against your #5 ranked defense (circa 2017).
After I watch the last SEC game on Saturday my thoughts immediately go to SEC Shorts in anticipation of what you guys will pick up on and you never disappoint. Go DAWGS.
I'm a Bama fan, and have been my entire 25 years of life, but I absolutely love watching these shorts! They're clean, humorous and just out right funny!
PAC12 checking in. I LOVE your content, and every week your writing is always super clever with top notch performances. Never fail to get a laugh out of me. Thanks for all your hard work.
"What did you do?" "Nothing. Just Missouri being Missouri." I LOST IT AT THIS Oh yeah, how is Hope feeling now that Texas A&M just got knocked out off the CFP?
The production value of these playful vids keeps getting BETTER AND BETTER! One of the many reasons that the SEC is the most exciting football conference on the planet :)
Yeah I was wondering if he was going to play coy and say the tigers and see if the angel would say Clemson? Just to force him to clarify no not a top 10 Tiger but a Mizzou Tiger. That's how I would've played it and I'm a Dawg just being honest...we were praying come forth quarter for sure. I'm blaming the fake turf this week. It just threw us off our game and Missouri really wanted it bad.
@@amandachilds5290 we came out flat and stayed flat. OL looked a mess for 75% of the game. They played well when they needed to. Edwards and McIntosh, even though he’s banged up, looked great running in the 4th. Milton…I don’t know what’s going on with that guys. We all expected a big year from him and he’s done nothing. I wonder if that hammy is still bothering him?
@@cbraswell14 agreed. I was joking mostly about turf but they didn't seem on same page and the crowd was loud. The timing and mental connection just wasn't on point. They played frustrated from early on through the third quarter and it made the offness last ...if offness is a word. Lol. Hoping they heal up and get some momentum and confidence back. Go DAWGS
@@amandachilds5290 well we’re going to make it a word because it perfectly describes how we looked. The crowd was a factor simply because their defense was feeding off of it. We really didn’t have any communication issues. They played out of their minds then ran out of gas in the fourth.
@@cbraswell14 well there was a couple of times with Bowers and the time stetson caused the fumble with the running back but that might not be miscommunication just timing offness but it hurt and I think the loud crowd caused a couple false starts but can't be sure so that's why I was making up the word offness when your frustration levels just make you a bit clumsy or timing not right or something. Lol. Just hope there's none the weekend. Amen
Right after the game Saturday I told my husband, we are gonna get ate up by SEC Shorts... He said, Yep. That was a painful game but par for the course with Georgia!! It was painful but not totally unexpected, sadly. While we have a good team (and often do), consistency is not our strong suit!! GO DAWGS!!
You mean Georgia hasn’t been winning forever? Man, based on many Georgia fans, it’s 1981, back to back title is a lock, and they are going to be the next Bama.
@@josh19852008, They have actually been one of the most consistent programs. Not with championships, but with having consistently good teams that although under-performed most years with the talent they've had, they've still managed to have had 25 straight seasons without a losing regular season. They've only had one losing season since 1997 finishing 6-7 after the bowl loss. 15 out 25 seasons with 10 or more wins is not that bad. UGA leads the nation in active bowl appearance streak.
On the reverse side you should have a skit with the SEC deals department. Eli Drinkowitz definitely sold his soul to the devil to beat Georgia for 56 minutes.
Ah yeah, as a Mississippi State fan, I don’t think many of us were surprised when we beat A&M. Love the content either way y’all, keep up the great work!
Come in. Bama deserved a spot here. 3rd and 15 at our own 20 with a redshirt freshman quarterback on the road vs a ranked Arkansas team with the place going nuts, runs for 77 yards. Felt like a miracle to me at the time.😂
As a Kentucky fan, I was ready for SEC Shorts to dump on us today, but I am much happier with this route. I don't know if I could've taken any more heartbreak after that loss
(Auburn) I really expected a showcase for us this week. Brilliant premise for the video! I will accept this as the only explanation as to how we lost that game. War Eagle🏈🦅🥃
Same here, but I live in Florida and follow the SEC just as closely, so it hits home for me, especially when my second favorite team, the Florida Gators are involved. I also have to wonder if they're implying that the LDS head coach of Mississippi State is utilizing some other channel for his miracles, which is the subtle kind of dig that is also par for the course here in the South. LoL
