Love this shop. Just find it hard to come up with an excuse to drive up there from Manchester and return with goodies that need to be hidden away in the house away from the battleaxe.
@@andyrae7265 I live in Hampshire and never had a licence for a pellet gun. You have to shoot on private ground etc or target practise in your garden if big enough and have some sort of back stop
Lloyd you say the vid might be too long , there long if your boring and you certainly aren't bro 👍 so I'd watch you show all your guns 👍 ill be up in the spring mate and i will be doing some buying if my Missus let's me lol 😆 great video once again 👍
I don’t know how you guys do the deals you do in secondhand gear some of those guns are so cheap it’s crazy it’s a shame I don’t live closer or I’d be in there every day……love your channel guys keep it up.
A good proper shop selling things that the guys behind the counter have a vast knowledge of. An absolute joy. As rare as Hens teeth are proper shops. Like JESSOPS the Photography shop. MAPLINS that shop and intelligent staff to find that thing you really need to mend something. Hardwear Shops with silver haired blokes in Brown Overcoats and pens and terminal screwdrivers in the top pocket. Oh yes, Nostalgia isnt what it used to be.
What a great shop ,you can't beat people with all round knowledge ,wish it was up here in Scotland ,there's gun shops but if you can't shoot shot guns forget it
Writing from the U.S. If I lived near your shop, I'd be there every week looking for classic springers. My wife would have to tie me down to keep me away from what I consider airgun paradise.
Been using you a lot lately.. for a very sad reason.. father in laws passed and only found these in you tube lately.. really tempted in the sweet 16. 😂
Very nice shop with by the looks of it is full of everything needed and more. Gun shops in Scotland really just died after the license was brought into play which is a shame really . Enjoyed the video thanks very much 👍
Really enjoyed the video. I'm more into Centrefire and shotguns these days but back in 1995 I inherited a collection of air rifles/pistols from an Uncle who had just passed away and in the collection is a Mark I Theoben Rapid 7 with 2x6 shot magazines, 1x 12 shot mag, 2 bottels and a decent scope. I did wonder if they had kept their value. Also have a few Brocock tandem air cartridge pistols, Uberti Yellowboy 1866 Winchester and a Brocock Herlad bolt action rifle, all air cartridge which teh Government changed the law which made them a Section 5 firearm but "allowed" us to keep them if we applied for a Section 1 certificate. How nice of them, but also in doing so reduced the value of my collection from £thousands to zero overnight. No compensation or buy back, just shafted us owners.. Enjoyed the video though and just subscribed.. 🙂
I've got a walnut stock TX200 1.77 in a bag in my back room, been there for over 10 years! I think my mate fired a few pellets through it about 5 years ago!
@@garryhewett9629 I received a spinal injury in 2005 about a year before I bought it and was put on Fentanyl and was bed bound for over 10 years. I remember next to nothing of those years other than pain. I liked the weight of it as it was similar to service rifles I was familiar with. Sadly it got put away and forgotten as I never got well enough to use it. I'm considerably better these days, I sit outside all day instead of unconscious in bed, but not able bodied enough for shooting.
7:21 1199 Pounds is a fair price !! I got my Bobcat FAC in 2018 for 12000 norwegian krons = means in that time 1000 pounds I guess ! So the price is stable !! But I´m happy with this gun,Ido not sale that!!!!!
I know that in the UK we are only allowed 12ftlb on air rifles legally .What stops you just turning the air pressure up on the bottle to create more power ?
Most guns now have anti-tamper screws and fittings to stop them from being turned up. Older guns don't but getting caught with something over 12ft/lb stops most people messing as its a serious offence.
It interesting that shops tend to stock high end guns but charges the same price of a new air rifle. Yet promots c02 and pcp. More than springers. Ok of the rack c02 and pcp might have the edge slightly. For accuracy. But with adjustments to spring you can have the same accuracy. Im not meaning a new powerful spring. The spring originally in rifle. To it sweet spot to remove recoil. I know it can be done as ive achieved it myself. And I’ve done same for some friends who was converted back to springers from pcp. The second is service on co2 and pcp recommend every three years where spring hardlyneeds it. Hence bsa cedets bsa air sporter and webleys ect still around not many pcp co2 old ones. But the biggest floor is if by chance we needed a rifle for survival ie food. And shops was no more or companies springer would be the only go too as co2 be a problem and pcp due to pups wouldn’t last long. Electric one couldn’t use. Dont get me wrong I’ve shoot some really nice pcp n c02. But nothing to convert myself for owning one. And as for cal i have 177 ,22 ,25 One other thing i had a hw95 couldn’t get on with it. Same with bsa lighting if anyone is thinking about buy a air rifle shoulder the air rifle they all accourt in the right hand’s meaning, if it fits right and the weight right, it becomes right. What fit one man or woman might not fit another. Hence hw95 and bsa lighting I could get on with. For the shop owner no affence you shouldn’t be selling second hand for new prices. A hw second hand & £400 notes really more like £250 else where When you can buy a new air rifle brand new for less. Ok you have over heads, build a shop in garden and sell from there and keep your push bike in there and gardening stuff in corner. Get rid of business rates.
Can only speak as I find an only been in the shop once and there was one male and a female in you were talking to the woman and I started looking around and was there about 5 minutes and you didn’t even ask if you could help, needles to say was a little disappointed so I left went to a different shop closer to home and bought something from there. I do like these updates as it gives us a good look at what you have in and the expected prices to pay
@@blackpoolairrifles9311 thanks for the reply Marra, guess we can all have an off day, it won’t put me off coming in when I’m down that way visiting family, you have a well stocked shop and your videos are good so just think we got our wires crossed, Maude I was having an off day too lol all the best anyway
The 1022 replica wasn't a crossman 1077 no? I'd be interested in a genuine replica branded Ruger plinker but less so the crossman,, and anyway neither will be taking anything out of my new rifle fund, a birthday treat, a kral and very likely from yourself 😊
How do I get onto your shops website, I don't see any links. I just want to know , you sell powerful hand pistols, and do you sell them online? At 76 years of age, I would like one for home protection. I know you will want proof, with a photo and D.O.B etc.
I'm interested in getting my first pcp and was considering a S410 classic. The question I have is a new unit built better than older models and would therefore be better value for money if I bought 2nd hand ? And do you get get many in your shop secondhand ?
When you say tuned, are they still under 12ft/lb. You have some nice plinkers there. I'm on the lookout for a nice mk3 superten in .22 to go with my .177 bbk
Those prices are steep 200 quid for a second hand bsa which you can pick up for less than 100 you'll probably find a brand new one for around that price my fully automatic crossman was only in the 300s brand new
Question for you. If an air rifle was legal, back in say the 60s but now according to the latest rules is too powerful, what then? Do you have to fit a weaker spring or something?
I can't think of an air rifle from the 60's that was over 12ftlb but if there was , I would have to speak to my local firearms officer about it and probably either detune with a weaker spring or put on a firearms license. Most of the high powered guns were Amercain imported pump ups that didn't have a restrictor or blow off valve fitted.
@@blackpoolairrifles9311, I have no idea of what 12ft/lbs is. In my young days, it was measured in muzzle velocity. I may be wrong but 200ft/sec rings a bell.
thank you for the feedback, what website can i go to to see the details of the PCp Classis models and how much is the price? can you just help me. Thanks
