Getting the 2022 Tesla Model Y Performance! Today we went to pick up our new Tesla Model Y. It is in Red Multi-Coat Exterior and all black interior. After getting home I started to take a closer look to see if I can find any imperfections that needs to be taken care of by Tesla.

SWEET!! Wonder if the steering squeak would get less over time? Still waiting here, but happy to live vicariously through other people getting their cars. The red is really lovely. Hope you get the door sorted.

The door seals have to set in and then the door will get easier to close

I came to comment this too. The seals are brand new and need to set in. I'm sure it's resolved by now months later.

Great choice. I am thinking of a Model Y Performance as well. My question is regarding the OEM tires. They come with Summer tires. And here in Canada that could be an issue. Second question is winter tires. Do you simply go down to the 19" tires and rims? Thank you so much and your Model Y looks ravishing in Red.

Nice car man. Shame on Tesla for not providing a powered frunk though. I think that's really low rent to charge so much money for a car and not make the frunk powered. You can make it powered yourself for like 500 bucks but come on man.... lame.

@@en3rgy187 They could but it is an additional cost. I must say they could do it on the model s because it is a 100k$ car. Rivian and lucid have powered hood, but theirs hoods are massive.

@@Frenchy78180 Either you're saying Tesla is running their company on a shoe string budget as it is OR they are so greedy they dont want to afford to include a powered frunk. Truth is Tesla is operating on profit now and becoming moreso each day. Tesla CAN afford to install powered frunks on every car they make.... they just don't want to. Tesla is not the same cool company they once were when they were getting started. They've changed in a negative to consumer direction when it comes to including stuff.

For orders taken before April 27, Tesla will provide the chargers. I ordered the 24th April, and I just got an email saying mine will come with the charger. 😊

On delivery day if you tell them about the minor gap issues (i.e. door issue + small trunk gap), will they fix for you asap? or are you stuck with the issues.?

That dash design is dangerous and will soon be illegal in many countries. Too much time to do anything with your eyes off the road... It needs to have the usual speedo and the rest in eye sight as well as HUD... Now if Tesla could include gestures

I own a Model X and I find the Model Y dash cool and modern. It also is never distracting to look at the speed. I find the model X instrument cluster screen outdated since it lacks touch and not customizable at all

Tesla autopilot, supercharging and software is whats missing in that car. So no not old at all plus you can’t compare that with Tesla at all other than that it’s an EV
