Thanks Adrian. It was a cold outing, but really enjoyable. After the dismal conditions I had in January, it was wonderful to have that amazing sunrise light this time.
Thanks Gavin. I was going to try and come up with some crude comment just for you, but I will just say... thanks for the suggestion. Honestly, thanks. ... and thanks for watching.
It was a beautiful weekend. I don't think it'll happen this year but it would be really cool to go winter camping. Have do some more 3 season camping before investing in more gear. 😄 Awesome moonset! There was a super moon Sunday night, Monday morning and I'm sure that helped 🌝 Another great video! I enjoy learning from you.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching. Winter camping definitely has its rewards - natural solitude and a test of will. The moonset on Sunday morning was a treat I wasn't expecting. Hope to see you out there again sometime.
What an incredible adventure and superb photography. None of that was easy. I have only made it to Mazama Ridge with snowshoes one time due to avalanche conditions, but it's amazing. I got some very good shots at midday, but nothing like you were able to capture at sunrise. Its incredible they got the road opened so fast after the slides and flooding we've had.
Thanks John. The early estimates on the road opening were mid-March, so I am happy they did get it open earlier than expected. Other that some new drainage areas, there wasn't really anything overly noticeable. Thankfully, this outing was much more productive than my January trip - came away with some good images this time. Thanks for watching.
I so enjoyed watching this video. The snow was gorgeous and the camping look cold but rewarding. You got some really nice photos. The moon setting was inspiring and the sunrise photos were gorgeous!
Thanks for the reply Don. I was pretty happy with the photos from this trip. At least one of which, I would consider a portfolio image. The moon set was an unexpected surprise.
