Michael Caine really impressed me in this film; his midwest U.S. accent is spot on, and he maintains it like a native through the entire movie.

The kid too. Lion Jasmine died protecting her cub. The kid was second hand too after his own mother dropped him off.

Love this movie! I love Haley Joel Osment in this movie and Sixth Sense! There are a few others I can’t think of at the moment too!

This was one of the best and sadly, most under rated movie when it came out. I watched it at the theater when it was released, and I laughed and cried through the whole movie. There is an alternate ending to this movie where they're a gathering to memorialize Grath and Hub and the French foreign legion show up as well as the old sheik. The legion honors them and the old Shiek memorializes them as he two most honored adversaries.

Great Reaction to this Overlooked Classic....... I own multiple copies and watch it couple times a year..... Michael Caine and Robert Duvall have great and believable chemistry as brothers..... Haley Joel Osment also played in "Forest Gump," "The Sixth Sense," "Artifical Intelligence," "Pay it Forward" (another great overlooked movie), Kyra Sedgwick (Married to Kevin Bacon) starred in a TV called "The Closer" Christian Kane played the Younger Hub Was in TV's "Angel"and "Leverage" and even released a Country music album.....

Note walter is driving a BMW. Indicating he is successful. Also the house has live plants instead of the 🌵 from earlier. Both the Uncles and the kid grew and prospered frombecoming a family
