Great tutorial. Please turn down the background music. The same loop of music over and over was distracting for me and I wanted to hear your voice giving excellent tips and ideas. Thank you for sharing your art techniques.
Carol Love hi Carol! You’re right and that’s the feedback I’m getting which I really appreciate so I can improve my content :) thanks for watching. Happy painting!
You gave me the idea to FOLD my yupo paper to make a distinct pattern. TYSM and the LAYERING. Wow TYSMFS so far this video was far more informative for me, some other channels.
Karen Kelleher so glad to hear that Karen! very glad I could help. I hope to add more videos this year but in the meantime I’m working on a new course for Artists in Business :) I have some more techniques and info on my blog if you’re interested www.jennawebbart.com/blog Xx 💜
Elly M of course! Welcome to the wonderful world of painting... a fun addition for sure! I have more content for alcohol ink beginners, a free webinar about creative confidence. And a discount for my course. Here’s a link to check it out jennawebb.easywebinar.live/event-registration and www.jennawebbart.com 🙏🏻🌈❤️
Couldn’t hear you very well over the loud background music- but I liked watching anyway, but I thought that using the alcohol inks in a spray bottle was a no-no since you can inhale it and cause damage
Oh my... The drip method is insanely pretty what a great effect... Thanks... I'm new to these inks and they r to me very hard to control if you are as OCD....as I am with art. Lol...i live to use watercolor it's my go to medium. And it took along many years before I wasn't as focused on perfection. Because imperfect is mainly their beauty. I guess the same will be with these inks... Thanks for the videos..
Cindy Rom of course! I love working with AI they never cease to surprise and delight! I have more resources for ink painters on my site. Some free and some paid go to www.jennawebbart.com for courses, materials, and blog 🔮🌈💜
Nice techniques but absolutely agree about the spraying, and also please be careful about leaving the alcohol in an open container. Dangerous for the lungs. Put it in another dropper bottle. Please wear gloves if you’re doing this sort of contact work.
THANK YOU JENNA!!!!!! You're art work is beautiful and inspiring. So glad you have video tutorials. I will watch you more now that I have found you. Love your way of teach, so calm and cool. I feel the love you have for beauty.
Marla Baum hi Marla, wow thank you that means a lot to me. It would be wonderful to see you in my art community or courses :) let me know if you’d like info
Love you experimenting tutorial! Awesome. One thing to help you more would be to turn the music off as for me anyway it’s very distracting. You don’t need this.
i couldn't understand everything you said in your first technic.....spray bottle of alcohol over painting (how did yo do that painting?) then sprayed with what?
Real artist discover new tips ways and techniques in their own style & ways! Most art is discovered doing it your own way and style.. NOT by what a company states should ir shouldn't be done on its warning label to protect them from misused lawsuits is all it is..
I have seen a number of alchohol ink artists recommend spraying alchohol on a painting to create texture. I have done it myself without any problems. What you are told you are not supposed to do is spray blending solution.
I am new to the alcohol ink genre. I’ve been into acrylic fluid art and other crafting but t not this. I’m excited to try alcohol inks but I have a question; is it very toxic or like some paints have low voc’s? I have parrots and I’ve always painted in same room except of course any spray painting or anything with high fumes. Should I treat the alcohol inks the same way?
The techniques are nice but why are you wasting ink by not placing yupo under what you are working on to collect and use the ink from the piece you are working on, you could have made several new pieces with the excess instead of wasting it. That could have been used as a money saving tip.
Downvoted because of the music. Tutorials are enough on their own with the voiceover. The music alienates a lot of people. There are many who will be triggered by sensory overload from the visual, voice and music. It's such a shame because it's an interesting video.
Jenna, the monotone, computer generated music is very distracting. Actually it is annoying. Can you find something more suitable? I love the video but I had to stop watching it because of the bacground "Noise".
@@MsHumanist1 I can see my comment upset you. ... You did not like my honestly described reaction to your video. It meant to be informative to you and the intention was not to "annoy you ". :).
