Now this is the kind of potential Xenoverse should capitalize on in the future; Changes in history that not only make the villains stronger, but the heroes too. Imagine having to fight alongside Nappa while Krillin's on a rampage after watching Yamcha die, or having to hold off Piccolo and Vegeta while Frieza powers up to his 3rd form. Or, hell, just let us decide if we wanna be Time Patrollers or Time Breakers!

This radiates “when the bad ending is better than the good ending” energy

this should be the initial cutscene of xenoverse 3, and a new history because they killed frieza

Fu just made 99% of the job . He sealed frieza’s transformation and power also made first form frieza far weaker with that seal or blast.

Wow, hearing the vo for Bardock in this really makes you appreciate Takahata's vo of the character.

Fu is like an anti hero or a neutral kinda guy, man saved the whole planet from being killed! but he is bad in some ways even though he wants time energy or something

Man, I remember some of the older DBZ games having "what if" scenarios you could unlock by winning a fight you were supposed to lose. It's such a cool concept.

This animation is so good, I've never seen any anime-based style pull off 3D animation as well as this game. Wish they'd made a short series.

Don't get me wrong, I think Daman Mill is a great voice for frieza,but hearing these lines of frieza's not being performed by Chris Ayres brings me a certain sadness I don't know how to express

Honestly... If this became Xenoverse canon... It would explain so much why there can be tons of Saiyan time patrollers... It really makes sense, another broken timeline where planet Vegeta still existed.

I've always wanted to see bardock kill frieza in this game. When you first get into the game and see the first bardock vs frieza battle they build up the tension but they never break/go over that tension.

It would cool if the next dlc for xenoverse was an expansion and it launched a whole new story starting on the saiyans second chance at life and how events would go out without the influence of frieza. But this won't happen because dimps would probably think that's too close to Xv3 and we can't have that.

Let’s all be honest this would have been a better timeline if bardock actually killed Freiza.

Man, once the new wave of DLCs in 2022 comes out they really gotta release a definitive edition of the game with everything included. It's tough buying individual DLCs where I live and I've been wanting to get into the game for years.

I appreciate both endings Bardock did justice to everybody in both of them Idk if it’s the voice actor but bardock doesn’t seem to hold the same emotion tht gave goosebumps like in the original xenoverse 2 storyline I wish bardock coulda fully transformed with him getting visions of the future, but refusing to let it play out the same transforming and seeing time shatter as he does with him finishing off frieza in his final form like he did is frieza’s first Loved this and just let’s us see there’s still possibility of xenoverse 3

It really would have been awesome if the player could play as a Time Breaker alongside Fu. Not just helping the bad guys win fights, but also making the good guys win when they aren't supposed to.

Not gonna lie, I feel like this is a lead in to Xenoverse 3, or a uniquely continued story for Xenoverse 2 at the least. I mean Bardock axed Frieza, so much can happen. The Saiyans are still alive and Goku is still on his way to Earth where I'm sure his parents and his brother will head to get him and bring him back to Planet Vegeta. But this means that Broly will still be around and Buu one day will still appear, threats like King Piccolo and the RR will be allowed to do whatever they want since Goku won't be there to stop them, and like I said before Gine and Bardock would have no reason to stay on Earth. Granolah would still hate Saiyans and Moro would still be kicking around in prison and eventually escape. The Tournament of Power wouldn't happen nor would would The Future Trunks Saga in a whole, since there would be no Trunks or Androids. We could still get Zamasu doing his Zero Immortal Plan just with a slow build up, since what made him so eager to do it in the first place was Trunks and Goku. But Zamasu would still end up being Hakai'd by Beerus so there's that. And since Goku was the main reason the T.O.P. occured in the first place which incoherently gave the universes a fighting chance to survive, everything would get ERASED anyway. My main point is that literally anything can now happen because of this moment right here lol.

I hope everyone realizes what would happen here. There would be no Goku, but a Kakarot.

Thank you for this. I was confused when I saw the gameplay of where bardock does die and thought about the other scenes in the trailer (final form frieza). I just assumed they cut it out or something and felt pretty meh about it but this ending is way more hype.

I hope in Xenoverse 3 we are given a choice. Choice to either assist Towa and Mira or Fu in breaking the timeline apart, or assisting Trunks and the Kais to preserve it. With two different storylines that can be followed, it would add a lot of crazy stuff to the game.

So, the game is like "We have to protect time! Make sure the genocidal maniac still wipes out this entire race!" Yeah, no, game, I know who I'm rooting for here.
