Which model stick do you have? I would close apps you aren't using (force close). That will help. People run too many at the same time and apps don't close themselves. It's like running dozens of tabs on your computer. eventually will freeze up.

That's a 2016 model. Pretty old for a tech device. Be sure to optimize it and force close all the apps always. Maybe an upgrade in your near future. I would get this one: amzn.to/3HSmHBP - These new apps and updates to older apps are memory and processor hogs. The new sticks have better processors and more storage.

It will work again. Just gotta do it exact and hit the menu button right after

You can do it. Just put your stick in pairing mode and make sure that remote isn't synced to another device. You can do this by erasing the memory on the remote. We have a video showing you how.

That doesn't seem right. Is it set to auto launch on startup? Are you restarting your firestick each day?

@@CuriosityCafe I don't have it set up to Launch except when I click on it . And I turn my fire stick off every day before work. I even deleted it and re-downloaded it but it still does it. Hopefully there's no type of malware or something

Ouch. Two things. Get VirusTotal app - it's free (we have videos showing how on the channel), then clear any malware and delete those apps. Then install expressvpn on the firestick - here is the link to get a VPN at a discount - www.expressvpn.com/curiositycafe - Once you get it you can log into it on your firestick and you can stream safely. You don't want malware on any devices in your home. These hackers are everywhere on those free apps. You can also add it to your other devices with the same log in (phone, tablet, computer, router etc). Safe Streaming

It will. Just have to get it just right. Most don't hold the two buttons long enough or too long. It's finicky. Works on all firestick models

It clears. You are thinking of the small kb amount that some apps require to launch. Doesn’t affect storage. Don’t get worked up about it. If the cache is over 1MB, then worry.

Well I know the old one when I cleared that fire stick it was it would give me more memory this one does not give me more memory.

I go in to each app about once a month and clear out all the cache

The KB is so small you wouldn't notice it. That's why. Don't sweat the small stuff. Makes zero difference in your storage
