I don't understand that position and I personally disagree with abortion especially if it is used instead of contraception. Not making it available when an obgyn says it's medically the best option due to some elevated risk factor is cruelty. It's not my decision to make. We aren't the pregnancy police nor should we be. If some applications of that choice are sinful then let God be the judge of those circumstances. Government should have no laws preventing medical care except in the case of malpractice.

On the other hand, this has been a very instructive time to live through. Didn't know we had quite so many shallow-minded people here who would gladly support the ending of democracy, the dissolution of the middle classes, and the chaos/bloodshed that they'd unleash on their own country.
I was a republican, took a year and a half off of politics to heal from volatile marriage to a Christian Nationalist. When I healed enough I came across Project 2025 and everything clicked into place. I had already left my church due to Christian Nationalism and now I was seeing my party willing to railroad women's rights and everyday Americans for their agenda. I left the party and registered Independent. I was scared when Harris became the nominee but something was stirring within me, it was a foreign feeling but I let it grow. That feeling was something I haven't felt in a long time. It was hope! I stand with Kamala Harris! Never going back! 💙💙💙💙💙💙

We need to get rid of the electoral college, without it we would not have been subjected to a Trump presidency in the first place. Hell we wouldn’t have had Bush 2.0 either. It should have always been the popular vote anyway. One person , one vote.
When the Electoral College was developed, there was no such thing as Mass Media, and it served the nation like it needed to. It is now obsolete, and not needed as nearly everyone is able to voice their choice easily, and the information will get where it needs to go quickly. The Electoral College basically says “your vote doesn’t count” if you didn’t vote for the person that won your state.

What if said woman needs a man to make a choice for her that she cannot ? My wife was spiraling due to mental health issues. Wouldn't seek help. I made the choice to take her to get inpatient help. She's much better now.
