I remember that about a year ago I was having trouble sleeping and it was like 2AM, I decided to watch one of these since they popped up on my recommended. I ended up being up until 4 AM watching these metal detecting videos. They helped me to sleep and feel comfortable. I’m glad to see the progress you made I’m just not a fan of the music. It feels a little less interactive and immersive. Still great though.

Your videos and explorations are truly fascinating to me. My dad was a Medic in the 103rd Infantry Cactus Division in WWII through France and Germany. What I find amazing is the amount of surface finds and shallow finds you come across despite it being over 75 years ago.

Hey! Question: Are these grounds open to anyone for metal detecting, or do you need special permissions to do this. I would love to try this one day if I ever get a chance to visit. Also are you allowed to take these findings on a plane without any trouble? Thanks :)

Really amazing to see this stuff dug up on battlegrounds. Me and my stepfather collected this military items from ww2 for years. All the neat things we found i will never get back because of a house fire. Lots of German, American and French stuff. I love watching your videos because it reminds me of all we found together. My favorite was a German native butter knife. Never seen one before until that day hidden an older ladies junk she was selling. There were lots we had gathered over the years and I will never see them again. Thank you for the videos you post on here. You do great work in taking time to uncover the forgotten and shedding light on the things people don't care about anymore.

Hi Chris, I enjoy watching your videos. I have a few questions. How often do you metal detect in and around Berlin? I was stationed in Berlin for 2 years and my barracks, Andrews Kaserne on Finckensteinallee actually housed the SS Liebstandarte Adolf Hitler during the war. I wonder what kind of finds are on the compound? Or in and around the Grunewalde or around the Wannsee? Lots of canals ponds and lakes too for magnet fishing.

May I make a suggestion? It would be interesting to know a bit more about where you are when you are detecting and maybe get some background info on what happened there and when. That could also be done by doing own research about the area. But maybe you don't want others to know when you are.

How were they defending their empire exactly. They were the pivotal in starting ww2 they were in retreat the allies were driving them back to their start point termed by themselves as their motherland, they were trying to invade and occupy all of europe and more. They wanted and thought they could claim it as their living space the term used was Lebensraum. The allies pushed the German's back to their motherland to end their arms production to bring an end to the conflict being ww2. They were the aggressors so why state they were defending their empire. Did their empire include the countries of Poland, Belgium, Austria, Denmark Czechoslovakia, Bohemia, Ukraine Lithuania, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Norway Russia, North Africa, Greece, may have missed a few out unintentionally. Added to the fact their slaughter of six million jews clearly demonstrates they were prepared to wipe any people not of Arian descent from the face of the earth. They were not defending rather attacking other countries the allies had to stop the German's from their master plan. I have an avid interest in history of all kinds its out there to be studied and freely available to research. It is not my intent to offend anyone in any shape or form but I feel history should be recounted correctly even events from the past and not so distant past.
