i did this and its stops the row from breaking, but it makes it so it only goes up 2, and theres always a row up a block (edit) nvm you have to put the part that send the signal out, up
hey, i’ve used a mumbo jumbo design and just set the top repeaters to 2 ticks instead of 1, sorry i couldn’t find another way for this design but thats what i found useful (if you wanna use it go to his 11 redstone door video)
@@bumsicle27 thanks for the help! I finally found one that works, but I’ll check out that design as well. Thought I exhausted Mumbo’s doors but seems there’s always more 😂
@@MrCube6 Uhm in my 1.19 world the gravity door seems to have developed an issue. I think the concrete powder fall so fast the entire top row breaks, just like sand would break when falling on a torch. The door might be too fast lol, any idea on how to fix it?
I reached several dozen times to make sure I was doing exactly as you were, And yet still it neither fully opens nor the closes, It inconsistently activate pistons from various rows to make it so only 2 rows of pistons and up triggered, And on the way back down The second road sticky pistons don't pull the normal pistons backed down, Leaving the sand door exactly where it was.
hey there! This is awesome! Will you make a video on how to actually connect the torch key to this specific contraption? I've been trying to do the torch key from your previous tutorials but actually connecting it to the contraption, I have no idea what to do. Thank you and I've subbed. :) keep it up! EDIT: I'm using java edition. The contraption works, except connecting the key to the contraption is where it goes haywire. The piston that activates the contraption from the key actually retracts instead of staying so there's gotta be a workaround somehow
Thanks for commenting and subbing!! It means a lot!! Unfortunately I will not be making a dedicated video for explaining how to set up a torch key for this specific design, but ive made a great tutorial on this exact topic using a very similar contraption. Alright so, have you watched this tutorial?: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-43x20gd5WQo.html This is a great tutorial on how to hook up a torch key, button, and pressure plate to any design. If you have, then make sure the observer on the torch key has a repeater coming out of it set to 4 ticks(watch the tutorial if you dont know what im talking about). Also make sure to have a piston underneath the block on the t flip-flop circuit. I think you are missing the T Flip-Flop (the complete circuit goes like this: Torch key, T Flip-Flop, Contraption. I think you might only have the Torch key and Contraption)This tutorial is fantastic so please make sure to watch it in detail because you might miss something. Thanks so much again and sorry if this was a little confusing to read. If you still have any questions then feel free to comment again! :D
@@MrCube6 you’re right!! I’ve got everything set up and the only thing I was missing was the piston for the T flip-flop to activate the door!! 🤣 a duh moment on my side. Thank you so so much for replying!! I appreciate it and once again, keep it up!! I’m ready for more cool redstone doors and such :) EDIT: rewording my paragraph
please I'm begging you make a tutorial with the full torchkey/ button activation included, im not a Redstone wizard i physically cannot do shit unless someone shows me exactly what to do with their design. The other video had just confused me even more.
@@IBreakReactorCoresThe dudes asking for help because it doesn't work don't tell someone it works clearly it doesn't in their version, That's like the most dumb a** thing To Do ever come on.
I tried it, it failed. When I extended it, only 6 blocks appeared, and when I retracted it, it didn’t retract all the way, maybe it’s because I’m on bedrock?
