I’m actually pretty glad you added the secret vent door too because gaming consoles usually need ventilation so that the room itself wouldn’t over heat and that’s often left out in “secret room” builds.

Awesome project, guys! But why not just put a hinge on the secret door so the bed would still be usable? Or maybe put a hydraulic platform so you can lift the bed and enter the secret room without actually putting a hole in the bed? Just my thoughts.

@@helloishootguns2962 you will need 56 4x4 planks of untreated wood, sand them down until smooth as butter, then, next to your bed, tear away carpet (if you have carpet,if you don't have carpet, pull apart tiles or planks from floor) then dig a 20ftx20ft hole under your bed, and place planks on roof of hole so the roof doesn't collapse on you, then you must take carpet, them place it on floor, (make sure to smooth out the floor first) then take extra planks and place on walls, add decor, chairs, TV, whatever you want, and voila done. (JK THIS IS A JOKE, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO BUILD THIS, BUT I KNOW THIS ISNT HOW OK, DO NOT.DO THIS)

That's why I recommend, if trying to recreate this project, you would use tracks at the bottom of the mattress, so that way, you could slide it to the side to access the lower compartment of the bed. Istg I want this in my house. I would have never thought of it until now.
