I like the fact that the imposters are based off The Things from the movie with the same name. Both are basically mutated shapeshifting lifeforms due to an extraterrestrial virus and retain the intelligence of the infected person. However in your iteration of Among Us if a person is mentally strong enough they could still partially have some of their mind and morals intact like Blue.

It’d be cool if a Secret History made the villains even worse. For example, A secret history for Izuku having it be revealed that Izuku did have a quirk, it happened to be stolen by All For One who erased everyone’s memory of the quirk.
