Secret Invasion’s behind the scenes struggles: What went wrong? 

Should’ve been an entire phase

I feel so bad for the actors because you could tell they worked with what they had and performed their hearts out to the best of their abilities, just for it to be ruined by really bad writing.

Secret invasion has so much potential but they dropped the ball badly.

I think they should have either done a nick fury movie or a nova movie before this show because in the comics some of the nova corp are skrulls which could have built up the skrulls more before secret invasion. Also secret invasion should of been an avengers movie

Phase 4 should have been about assembling the next gen Avengers. Phase 5 should have been about the secret invasion.

I just finished reading the Secret Invasion comicbook. Damn, it is 10× more messy than anything on the show. If they wanted to keep the source matetial, the show should have been even bigger than Endgame, and with characters that have not appeared yet. Honestly, I'm fine with a more grounded setting revolving around Fury and Skrulls. 🌱

In my opinion should have been a Captain Marvel or Avengers film, not a Nick Fury TV series. The Skrulls are too big of threat to be defeat by a secret agent like Fury (who works better as supporting character than a protagonist). Instead of just introducing new characters in phase 4, Marvel could have dedicate that phase to build up to the introduction of the New Avengers, the ones who will seemly be the protagonists of this post-Endgame era, with Kang being their "Loki", the villain whose presence leads to the heroes coming together as team. Then phase 5 could build up the secret invasions, with some films having the skrulls infiltrating and manipulating events. This could conclude in New Avengers sequel, with the heroes saving the day but now having to deal with the consequences, like the public no longer trusting them bc of the Skrulls actions and the goverment, in their paranoid state, deciding to create their own group of super-human, which would be The Thunderbolts, who could be the villains in the next phase. Obs: In case some wonders where Incursions and the Multiverse Saga would fit into this, I think it could be set up in the New Avengers films (with Kang as the main villain) and then continue to be develop in What If series and specially in the Fantastic Four films, while the New Avengers would be busy dealing with the Skrulls and the Thunderbolts. So basically the Fantastic Four would end up becoming the real protagonists of the Multiverse Saga while the Avengers films would be reveal to be a red herring.

Yeah it was something... I have as a C along with Iron Fist season one. Too many cooks and the first four episodes I agree with you on that. It's definitely was a wake up call. Not my favorite but yeah could have been better

She-hulk was worse than secret invasion was boring and disappointing but at least it wasn't hateful and unentertaining and THEN completely broke the immersion/internal logic of the universe for a bad joke that didn't land. Now don't get me wrong secret invasion is still a travisty but it's not the worst marvel show that was and still is she-hulk, 😮‍💨 sorry had to get that off my chest but anyway great vid 😅 👍🏿
